Desde enero mi hija comenzó con un rash en todo el cuerpo y con una picazón desesperante porque lloraba demasiado cuando le picaba. La lleve a su pediatra, le hicieron pruebas de alergias, exámenes de sangre, le mandó un medicamento y no se mejoró. La llevé 3 veces al hospital de Nicklaus Childrens y la vieron 3 doctores diferentes, le mandaron 3 medicamentos diferentes en esas 3 ocasiones y simplemente no mejoraba. Y encontré esta clínica y fue lo mejor que me pudo pasar. La espera no es prolongada, te atienden rápido, las muchachas de front desk son muy amables, la atención excepcional y la doctora nada más que vió a mi hija me dijo lo que tenía y le recetó un aceite, una linea de cuidado de la piel como detergente de ropa y body wash y también una crema medicada y al día siguiente de estar usando ese aceite la piel de mi hija ya estaba diferente y en menos de una semana la piel estaba completamente sana, suave y hermosa. Realmente tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa y seguiré viniendo con mi hija cuando tenga algún problema en su piel y sin dudas recomiendo este lugar porque fue lo mejor que nos pasó a mi y a mi hija pequeña. read more

The training is very disorganized, and new employees are often expected to figure things out on their own. There isn't much support, which makes it stressful to learn the job properly , Providers / manager seem to be under constant pressure to finish appointments quickly and get the next in , feels more like a factory rather then healthcare ... they seem to focus more on quantity rather then quality , therefore if your looking for a place to workplace that values training , teamwork & proper patient care this place is not IT . read more

Appointment was scheduled 30 minutes before the doctor was even onsite. I was the first patient in the door at 8 AM. The lady at the front desk then said "the doctor will be right with you". There were no other patients. After 25 minutes I asked the lady when I would be seen. She told me that the doctor was scheduled to be in the office around 8:30. I waited another 45 minutes and was sitting at the office until 9:10AM when I cancelled and left. The business should not be scheduling appointments the doctors cannot fulfill timely. read more

Natalia refused to listen to my concerns, for the second time, even so far as to refuse a simple scrape test. I waited in the patient room after being called in for another hour. Everything I said they were like no, no....we don't think it's that, even with evidence pointing to the contrary. As I said, unempathetic folks there refused to listen to me, always in a rush, triage nurse clearly sounded like by the tone of her voice she seemed unhappy about even being there, she sounded cold and annoyed, she also walked right into the room without knocking first knowing I was putting my clothes back on...just outright rude and I am extremely frustrated with this experience. read more

I think they are great but I asked multiple times where did Dr. Pichardo go... she was the reason why I will go there in the first place and wait for over and hour sometimes! Their answer was "we can't tell you where she went" .... one of my coworkers said that they even told her that she moved to Naples which is a horrible and complete lie! Giselle Gutierrez is my dermatologist and she's excellent! She listens to your concerns and is very knowledgeable of her work. She also has great recommendations beyond just typical dermatologist recommendations and ensures her patients have good products in their routine. I have gone in for my follow up and seen drastic results in my skin from just 4 weeks of treatment. I have been to many dermatologists and Giselle truly is the best. I have already sent two of my friends to her office! Would highly recommend her :) read more

I probably should have read the comments before going to this office. Visit was ok, upon arrival I was informed there was a new doctor in the practice as the original doctor had retired. I thought this might have been something to inform a new patient of prior to the appointment. I have called twice for a follow up prescription that was never sent to the pharmacy and I have yet to receive a call. Both doctors are very professional and great but my problem is with the nurses and or the receptionists at the front. It has gotten to the point that I avoid having to call the office because they're even unprofessional over the phone. They never fail to ruin my experience during my appointments. It's like every time you ask them a question, it's filled with unnecessary attitude, sort of as they're bothered to even be there. I actually had an appointment today, and a nurse put a client on hold to talk badly about the client and told another nurse to take it. The other nurse then stated that "she doesn't care". I'm telling you, they're mean and unprofessional. This has been a ongoing situation for over a year already. And I know I'm not the only one because of other yelp reviews and my mom agrees as well. Great doctors but the staff needs to be taught how to deal with patients ASAP. read more

Worst front office personnel. Either they lack knowledge or they do it just for the patient to pay. When I made my appointment I was very clear in asking how much was my out pocket and if I had other charges due at time of the visit. I was asked what I was going in for and took down my insurance information and was told they will verify my medical insurance coverages so that I did not have any surprises. When I checked in I was told I had to pay a $50 deductible to see the specialist (the Dermatologist). I asked about 5 times if that was all I had to pay and was told yes. I saw my chart on the counter and saw a X dollar amount highlighted so I asked the girl what what that for and she told me not to worry that that's just for them to know. When the rude ass doctor came in to see me she brought that same chart in and told me that I had $563 (the highlighted amount ) left to meet in my annual deductible and that since I needed to have a surgical procedure I needed to pay for it in full. If they asked me what I was going in for and they verified my insurance the coverages why didn't they disclose that up front with me that I needed to pay in full other wise I would've not gone in and gift them $50 just to be in the room for 5 minutes and not have anything done that I need it to read more

I've been coming to this location for years and have always loved the doctors here; however, the office manager decided to block my patient file not to make any more appointments because I left a complaint regarding the front desk and waiting time (just like many other patients on Google). Leaving a one star because despite the doctors being great and me emphasizing that I was satisfied with the results from the treatment; I was not happy with the customer service provided at this location; not to mention their unprofessional response. Customer service is key in all service providers; unfortunately, this location lacks that and that truly kills the experience. At least now I know it was the office manager from the South Kendall Dermatology location that decided to make this move. read more

They did not remove it completely and now it is worse than it was before and when I came back they simply told me to "go to a plastic surgeon because they were not qualified." I am giving them two stars only because the doctor really was sweet and thorough. I saw Dr. Pichardo and she was great, I really liked her. Besides this, the rest of the experience was not pleasant. The wait time was ridiculous and the girls working up front were not friendly. My appointment was at 5:30 and I was seen almost at 8 PM. I literally waited 2 hours to be called in. They told me my biopsy results would be ready 2 weeks from my appointment and to call back. I called and the girl rudely dismissed me and told me to call back another day because they weren't ready. Bottom line I called every single day until Friday. Still nothing. Friday they told me they would finally give them to me but that I had to call back by 3 pm. At 3 PM I had to call and pretty much escalate the matter to get some sort of results. Why tell me two weeks if it's actually three weeks and then in three weeks I still can't get them?! Not happy with my experience. I wish I could still see the same Dr. but I will not be returning to this office. read more

I found this dermatologist on Yelp 1-2 weeks ago. They had good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I had a suspicious mole I wanted to get looked at and removed. So the dermatologist I saw was great. They called me in before I even finished filling out paper work and 3 min later Dr. Karen Baker came in. She was very nice and said the mole was nothing of concern but she could remove it if I wanted and send it to the lab to make sure it's nothing. So I said yes. It was quick and painless. I was out by 1:00 (appointment time was 12:30) Easy office to deal with which is very refreshing! read more

The office on 120th and 127th ave. is poorly managed, sent prescriptions had to call multiple times to get issue resolved. Had to visit pharmacy several days and multiple calls to office, I'm still sitting at farmacy to get prescriptions. First they tell me it would be there within the hour, no prescription I called back they said end of day, I asked why tell me in one hour, she said that was a mistake, then why send me. Been days and still has not sent re rest of prescription. I've visited pharmacy 4 times still incomplete! My family goes there but we will be looking for another one that is more organized! Oh they divided the 2 prescriptions to walgreens my pharmacy and another CVS So pharmacist had to call CVS to cancel prescription so that she could bill my insurance where I was at otherwise the insurance would not pay, good doctor lots of staff not very good service or work! read more

Horrible staff. The doctor and nurse I have no issue with but the front desk staff were so unprofessional and rude. When I was done with the soctor she td me the lady outside would give me my follow up appointment. The lady at the desk just sat there and wouldn't make eye contact. Finally when she looked up I told her I needed a follow up appointment and she told me I can call to make the appointment. I told her I'd prefer to do it now and she did it reluctantly. No card with appointment date or anything she was just to bothered to deal with me. Been coming here for years but on my second to last visit, they double charged me on the copay, even though the insurance company told them otherwise. Charged me for labs, even though covered by insurance. I was later refunded. Insurance didn't cover removal. Why not charge correctly in the first place. 2nd visit was unpleasant: over 10 patients waiting, although I was seen w/in 45 mins. Time with the doctor was rushed. Because insurance coverage changes from year to year, I point blank asked the doctor if the removal was covered. She said yes, I said in that case, remove it. I later received a call saying they forgot to charge me $150!! $75 for removal and $75 for labs. Again, an overcharge since labs are covered. And as I remembered, removal was not. I wouldn't have done it otherwise cause doctor said no big deal. It was just in an uncomfortable spot. Of course I argued this. Doctor later claimed she said there's a charge. I don't appreciate being lied to, then she later denied she said it was covered. Office Manager said "I should know my benefits", well, so should they. The overcharging seems to be a common theme here. They insisted I pay, but I won't pay a penny more than what's due, albeit in a form that lacks integrity. I told them to bill me. It's been 2 weeks, still waiting. I suspect they'll send this directly to collections. They're welcome to spend the extra money on that or do the right thing and send me the bill. Great dermatologist here!!! I've been to quite a few and this has been the best so far. Getting an appointment is easy, they have various hours and availability. The doctors really spend their time with you. I can't stand when Dermatologist want to sell you all of their products and don't even look at your skin. Urghhh that's like an automatic " I'm NEVER coming back here" response. The few times I have gone, they have NEVER tried to sell me Anything... LOVE IT!!! They give you suggestions of the creams that you can buy in the store and recommend procedures, but you NEVER feel forced. I've never felt rushed while talking to the doctors and they really hear your concerns. Which that alone gets 5 stars!! You wait a little bit, but nothing out of the usual... (about an hour) I came here with the recommendation to see Dr. Weinman, but ended up seeing the other doctor (woman) don't remember her name. She is really good and have seen her a few times. They "zap" you right on the spot and it's quick and not so painful... The "zap" is for any little black heads, little veins or to burn anything on your skin. It looks like a little pen that has a needle at the end of it and "zaps" your skin. I'm not sure if it works 100%, but at least it seems that they are working on my face, instead of selling me things. I know they do a other procedures here, but haven't tried any. They give you the option to get your prescription mailed to you. It's a separate company that does that. I've never tried it because I prefer to go to Walgreens and just pick it up, but if you don't want to worry about it and just have it delivered that's something to take advantage of. You must give it a try, it's soooo hard to find a good dermatologist and this place is definitely a keeper read more

The doctor who saw me was annoyed by any of the questions I asked (never having been to a dermatologist before, I had a few). I was trying to explain the patterns I've noticed in my skin but she didn't care to hear it, just prescribed me an oral antibiotic and topical cream and never learned my name. Anytime I tried to ask for clarification I was cut off and told to just take the medication. Very upsetting experience and I hope other people reconsider before coming to this place. I went in to get a wart looked at and removed and I came out with a wart and $115 less in my account. On top of the copayment,which I understand is required because of my insurance, I ended up paying $75 just to get a drop of liquid nitrogen on the wart. It wasn't removed or anything and they told me I might need more session to get it removed instead of just cutting it off and getting it over with. I literally feel like I have just been robbed. The Doctors are nice and all but the cost for a treatment I could have done at home is super over priced. Sorry but the only reason I would go back is to get a refund on that one super expensive drop of liquid nitrogen. read more

I normally do not leave reviews - don't make an appointment at this place. They'll give you a run for your money. I paid a 150 co pay. My insurance has an HRA account which I clearly mentioned to them twice on my way out. The clinic needed to bill my HRA account before charging me this insane amount and they didn't even bother verifying that with my insurance first. The woman at the front desk did not understand me and kept insisting I meant to say FSA account. An FSA account is different from my an HRA. It gets even worse - the women at the front desk charged me 100 dollars for a culture the dr had to get sent out for testing. It literally took the dr less than 10 minutes to do the procedure and on top of that I still have the mole, it was not even removed. They did not even give me a reason as to why it was 100 dollars and again didn't bother verifying this with my insurance. I wouldn't even call it a procedure. I waited longer than actually talking to the dr. I've never had to pay up front for something like this. Clearly this clinic is just a business. All the girls at the front desk are clueless. One girl said something like "well, if we're overcharging you then we'll just refund you" why would someone say something like this to a patient? Do they just charge patients whatever they'd like and worry about the outcomes later? I spoke to my insurance about it 10 minutes after leaving my appointment and they were surprised I was charged 150, they did not understand why they didn't bill my HRA account first. My insurance called the clinic and were also taken back by how clueless the woman on the phone was. My insurance told me I'd here back from the clinic in an hr and never got a phone call from them since their office closes at 2pm? The Dr was great, but the receptionists were not. I'm never going back to this clinic again as I don't have patience for inconveniences like this. read more

This doctors office is so relaxing and so serene. The meditation music they have playing just relaxes you instantly.I came in to have some spots look at.
