The best experience! My son had a wart on his finger, and after seeing two other dermatologists over the past six months, we still had no results. One doctor sent us home with a cream and told us to scrape the wart before applying it. The other froze the wart so poorly that it left part of his finger covered in a painful blister. I always read reviews before choosing a doctor, so I was hesitant to try another dermatologist. I'm so glad we came to Miami Center of Dermatology. From the moment we walked in, Isabella greeted us with kindness and made us feel welcome. Ashley, our dermatologist, truly listened and took the time to explain everything. She told us the wart was much deeper than the previous doctors had realized and explained why the other treatments were never going to work. She carefully removed it by scraping it out. At our two-week follow-up appointment, the wart was completely gone! This was one of the best medical experiences we've had. The staff was caring, knowledgeable, and efficient. The visit was quick, but we never felt rushed. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Miami Center of Dermatology to anyone looking for a dermatologist who truly cares. read more

Poor pain management for keloid removal. She didn't allow the lidocaine or laughing gas to take effect before starting the procedure. I'm aware it's a painful procedure and I have a high pain tolerance but she seems in a rush to maximize the amount of daily appointments to rush people out the door. read more

I'm honestly shocked at how disorganized and misleading this office is. I came in thinking I was finally starting my treatment tomorrow. I did all the forms, waited forever for my last appointment with Dr. Longwill, and was never told that I hadn't even seen the actual doctor. Turns out the person I met with was just the nurse practitioner, and no one bothered to explain that I would still need a separate appointment with Dr. Longwill for approval. Now I'm being told I can't start treatment until next year, all because of their complete lack of communication. I wasted my time, did all the paperwork, and sat through long wait times... for absolutely nothing. The whole process feels like a bait-and-switch: you make an appointment with the doctor and they shuffle you to someone else without telling you, then act surprised when you're confused. If this is how they handle basic scheduling and patient communication, I honestly don't feel confident trusting them with something as serious as this treatment. Extremely disappointing experience. I had a skin allergy about a month ago and visited the doctor to confirm it was an allergy and to request an allergy test. The doctor informed me that I needed to schedule a separate appointment with Damian, who handles allergy testing. I went ahead and booked the next available appointment--today, 7/7/25 at 9:15 AM--and was instructed to arrive by 8:45 AM. I even took PTO from work specifically for this test. At 8:00 AM, I received a call and text from a medical assistant, Daniela, informing me that the appointment had to be rescheduled because the patch testing supplies had not been ordered. She explained that this was due to a lack of internal communication and that the type of appointment had been overlooked. This is completely unacceptable. If the office charges patients penalties for being late or missing appointments, then it should also offer compensation--such as credits or complimentary services--when it fails to uphold its end of the commitment. I lost a full day of PTO because of this oversight, and I believe the office should be held accountable. Although the location is conveniently close to my home and the practice has a strong reputation based on the reviews on Dr. Deborah Longwill's website, I will not be returning--and I will not be recommending this office to others. read more

I appreciate the excellent service I received from here today. I'm self pay and the cost of my services were much less than what other dermatologists quoted me. The facility was extremely clean. The wait was a little long (45 mins or so) but I didn't mind because there was free coffee haha. The NP Damian and the nurse Daylin (sorry if I misremembered!) were wonderful. They took all of my concerns seriously and answered my 1000 questions with patience. I have some health anxiety but they put me at ease. The staff at reception was also extremely friendly and quick. This is a solid practice when it comes to medical care -- they seem like they know what they're doing and prescribe appropriate treatments. But the experience outside the exam room leaves a lot to be desired. Parking is extremely limited, with no self-parking and a setup that can leave your car blocked in until others are moved. Appointment delays are routine -- I've consistently waited an hour or more past my scheduled time. It feels like they're overbooked and under-resourced. The location is convenient, but there are other dermatologists around who offer comparable care with better logistics and time management. read more

After that, I had to call to schedule an appointment. When I called, I learned that they'd keep my information for the future, but now they do not accept new patients!!! read more

I was an actual patient and was left with a permanent disfiguring scar on my nose and needed further medical treatment! I went for a routine check up here for a spot on my nose - was referred for MOHS surgery by Dr. Longwill. Because she missed a crucial area of diagnosis, the surgeon even said Dr. Longwill missed it and it was NOT ON the treatment prescription and sent me back to Dr. Longwill for a second consult for the rest Now my nose is permanently scarred and now I'll need corrective surgery. Horrible experience. After I came for a doctor' visit they charge for something that my insurance doesn't cover ( of course). After almost a year that they did not notify me ( no calls, email or letter). I received a letter of an attorney is charging the office fee and extra $60 to pay. When I told the attorney to send me a letter with that bill and explanation they, the doctor office had misspelled my address, that's why I wasn't getting any letters. Now I'm stuck with a $60 dollar fee because they misspelled my address and don't want to be responsable. I have been calling the office for weeks to pay my bill direct with them ( no $60) and nobody has returned my call. Not coming back here. I've been here only four times and it was four times too many. I've never been seen by Dr. Deborah Longwill. Instead by two other Drs. (Or maybe P.A.s?) The only enjoyable aspect of this place is the waterfall in the waiting room. At least it can keep my blood from boiling from this outrageous wait time. My first visit here was about a year ago to have a couple birth marks biopsied. No one ever called me with the results...not ever. I've always arrived 10-15 minutes early because I used to park at Target and walk over here. I absolutely hate valet parking and refuse to do it. On my 3rd visit I decided to politely ask if I could self-park. The valet attendant reluctantly agreed. I did the same on my fourth visit. Last time I was here I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes to be seen for a total of 7 minutes. Yet on each of my visits the waiting room has been only 20-30% full. While checking out they tried to sell me 5 products- All cheap- looking "Dr Deborah Longwill" brand yet all expensive. No thanks. My most recent appointment was scheduled for 1:00pm. When I began writing this review at 1:45pm I was still waiting to be called into a room. But don't go getting too excited when you do get placed in a room because you'll be sitting in that uncomfortable chair for another 20-30 minutes before the doc comes in. I was finally called in at 1:55pm and was seen for a total of 4 minutes. I think this place is more for facials, botox, body sculpting, cellulite treatments, other god awful skin injections and treatments. Not my kind of place. But I'm stuck like Chuck. This is the most beautiful doctor office I have ever been to. I have been so impressed I have already told dozens of people to go here. The office has a waterfall in the waiting room, the floor is a stone path, the doors are stained glass - it is gorgeous. And what does that have to do with anything? The way they care about how the office looks is the way they care about you! Atleast here it is. Dr. Longwill takes your conditions seriously. She makes a little treatment plan guide that will help you on your way to recovery. She prescribes all the meds necessary, provides you with coupons and samples, and even has a boutique of her own products to use also. I've bought her Mint Clay Mask which is wonderful and some shampoos and face washes, all work better than anything I've tried in the stores. I've never had such great undivided attention from a doc before, she doesn't seem rushed and is friendly and nice all at the same time. She also provides lots of other services, if you are interested in facials, acid peels, botox, or hair removal. Compared to so many of the other doctors I've seen in Miami (with 2 hour waits, dirty bathrooms, disappearers at lunchtime), this is the best I've seen yet. read more

EDIT: Jessica from the doctors office emailed me immediately to remedy this situation. I am very happy with her concern for my needs. I have been coming here for a few years now. I have only seen Dr. Longwill once, other than that I am seen by a P.A. On my visit yesterday, I had several issues I spoke to the nurse and to Jason (who is very good at his job and helpful) however I needed a follow up on a spot on my nose (which I mentioned to both of them) but somehow we ended up forgetting to take care of it. You would think they would keep notes on all the issues mentioned at arrival and check them off. Right after I left (after 5pm) I realized we had forgotten and I called first thing the next morning. Never received a call back and called again at 2:30pm to be told I would have to come in and pay a new co-pay ($60) to take care of it. I am very disappointed as I should not be punished for not reminding them 3 times about a problem at my visit. read more

I absolutely love Dr. Deborah Longwill and Christina (esthetician) who does my facials. I attend the dermatologist every month for facials and I see Dr. Longwill every two to three months. Dr. Longwill is knowledgeable, honest, friendly and fabulous. She always looks great; very well put together from head to toe. Her office is beautiful, very clean, welcoming, the staff is warm and kind. I trust her recommendations and I love her skin line. Her medical assistants are just as remarkable and catering; I loveeee Matt he is irreplaceable. Christina is my facial esthetician and she is AMAZING. Now they office is doing Oxygen Facials which is so exciting. Christina is very experienced, sweet, professional, loves what she does and she does it so well. I asked liked 10 times how much the procedures (inspection, biopsy and removal of moles) were going to cost (to the front desk girl, the assistant, the second assistant and to the doctor). All said: "your insurance covers it all, it is just the $40 for the consultation". I received a $15 lab bill and a $200 bill from the dermatology center few weeks later. The sad thing is that I recommended 3 other persons to go there and they went before I received the bills so unfortunately the same happened with them... I also add an abscess removed, I would have done it myself if I knew it would cost $130... but same thing when I asked how much: "no, no, no, it is covered and you don't have a deductible so nothing". You can say that I should have known I have a deductible. No, preventive services are totally covered with my insurance and there is no deductible for these so when my physician says "nothing, no deductible" I don't expect to receive a bill two weeks later! read more

This place is trying to find ways to pay for the "spa" like atmosphere they have. Valet parking for a dermatologist ?? Really ? I had a squamous cell on my arm. They wanted me to do surgery or they suggested radiation treatments. 20 of them !! I elected the surgery which ended up being a scrape that lasted all of 5 seconds. The last straw was them calling and texting me, as they do for every appointment, warning that if you cancel last minute, or no show, they will charge you $50. Well I showed up in the morning for my appointment and there was a chain across the parking lot. Office had closed for the day and they never called me to tell me not to show up. Wow! I went in for a consultation on fillers, Dr Longwill was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. She went on to start my treatment the same day. The treatment was completely painless. The results were awesome, above and beyond anything I was hoping for and much better than any doctor that I had seen previously. In the past I was always sore and bruised ,this time I was able to go out right away without makeup. The attitude here is that they are above the patient and are doing me a favor by seeing me. The fact is, I'm doing you a favor by choosing to go there when I have so many choices so act like you appreciate your patients instead of acting above them. Lately, dermatologists are only out to make the almighty dollar on cosmetic procedures. If you are in for a real dermatological concern, then you are Sh*t out of luck. I have been getting some peeling around my eyes. Being that I didn't know what was safe to use near the eyes, I made an appointment with the dermatologist. The office is cute and nicely decorated. That's where my praise ends. So after a significant wait, I am taken to an exam room and asked what I'm in for and some other basic questions. He tells me that I will be seen shortly. The wait wasn't long at all. Neither was the consult. The PA (not the doctor) walks in and doesn't even get close to look at the affected area and told me what the cause could be. She gave me a sample of a med. and told me to purchase one of their creams. I think she was in there all of 3 minutes. So I go to pay and wait a bit longer. I buy the cream and I'm told that there is no co-pay for this visit. Ok, I'm good with that, especially when nothing was really accomplished. The cream was about $22. So I go home and use the cream as directed. My eyes immediately start to burn and water. I can't keep them open and I'm convinced that I will be blinded for life. I later look at the tube and guess what? "Do not use near the eyes"!!! Seriously? I am prescribed something to use around my eyes that can't be used near the eyes? I'm still looking for a derm that is not only interested in the Botox portion of their practice. Do they even exist? Oh, and "no co-pay for today" actually means that they will just bill you for the 3 minutes, burn your eyes out consult at a later date! read more

Yes the place is pretty, and the staff is nice but Dr. Longwill leaves a lot to be desired. After waiting about an hr and a half I left this place $150 short, and very VERY disappointed. She has what we call...poor bedside manner- and she should be more careful to not jump the gun and shoot out a diagonsis without a proper work up especially to someone like me- a registered nurse! She brushed off my concerns and blamed my genetics, gave me a perscription for a really bad antibiotic and in about 6 mins she had dismissed me and told me "see you in a month"...NOT!!! I went here with my mom because she has a concern about her hair loss in one spot and she was interesting in knowing about Botox. So my mom made an appointment and everything was going well until we had to wait over 2 hours for service. When we walked in a checked in and gave all the information the receptionist needed. By time we got into the clinical room, we had to wait another 1 hour just to see the doctor. And the doctor didn't even ask the right questions or listen to what my mom had to say. I was getting upset because she brings a man in lab coat into the clinical room and doesn't introduce him. And he doesn't say anything. It's called bedside manner, you introduce all the people inside the clinical room. All in all, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. The waiting time too FOREVER. And I know I sound I'm like exaggerating, but its the honest truth. I felt that the doctor did not have proper bedside manner--especially since it was our first visit. She ended up prescribing my motto buy her $12 shampoo, $12 conditioner and really expensive vitamins that look like horse pills. I was really disappointed in the condition that we were handle and wouldn't want to go back unless I had another reason to waste time and money. And my mom didn't even get to found about the Botox really! And that's what she really wanted. Don't waste your time! Or your money! read more

Worst experience of my life! As someone who works in healthcare and as customer, I can tell you that the lack of professionalism from this place is baffling. I was a first time client , I showed up 20 minutes early to my appointment because I believe in professional courtesy and being on time yet I was left waiting for 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES! The staff were not friendly whatsoever. I kept seeing people come and go yet I was just waiting and they would tell me that those patients were for other doctors. After asking a few times they put me in a room and they left me waiting, yet again until I got tired of waiting and told them I was leaving. 45 min later after I left, I got a call from Dr. Fox (the doctor that I had an appointment with because Dr. Longwill is imposible to get an appointment with) and he apologized for the "mixup."When I asked him to clarify what the "mix up" had been he said, "there was no mix up, some clients just take longer than others"....ok. I understand that sometimes delays happen, but if it's been over an hour and a half and you know you have a new patient waiting for you , at least have the decency to get another doctor or PA to see them not just leave them there waiting for hours. I drove 45 minutes from where I live to be seen at this practice and it was just a huge waste of my time and money. As a customer I've never felt more disrespected as I did today. A nightmare. If you are the type of person fooled by pretty decor- you will love this place. I took all preventative measures to ensure my insurance was taken and they understood my insurance type. To make a long story short- when I got there and was done seeing the doctor --suddenly they don't use my insurance 100% as they promised. On top of that, front desk was extremely rude while I tried to figure out the issue with my insurance company. Gave me attitude and rolled her eyes- through out. My first recollection of sunscreen was the Coppertone Girl getting her pants pulled down by a mechanical dog on Biscayne Blvd. I was eight years old back then, so I guess it was my first recollection to Anamie Porn (sick right). Well, I never used sunblock, sunscreen, it was oil baby oil! Now I guess I'm paying for it. Dr. Debbie and the gang have expanded, from a meger office on SW 87 Ave. to the SW 104 St. location to know a Doral location. She has a professional staff. all who have beautiful skin. Gee I wonder why. I have been treated very well there, everyone from the valet (yes that's right) reservationist, to Dr. Debbie and her scalpel. Went in to get sun spots removed form my face and hand. I was charged $600! The procedure did not work - when I called back to notify them they said I would have to come in again and pay another $600 - that the treatment sometimes requires 2,3 and 4 treatments. They never told me that - she said the would just peel off - no one ever said come in for a second and third round of $600 treatments. I couldn't believe how rude Fernanda was to me. not too mention they tried to shove $250.000 of cleansers. Bring your wallet if you choose to go read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Longwill's for many years. First of all, her new office is beautiful and state of the art. I visit her for my complexion. I used to have mild acne and now I never break out. When I've needed a beauty mark removed she does an amazing job and never leaves a scar. I believe she does plastic surgery and also nonsurgical procedures like botox, etc. Luckily I'm not there yet, but I know where I'll come when I am! I've been very pleased with all the staff and the Doctor is excellent at what she does. It seems like you get in and out quicker if you make an early morning appt. I'm not sure what happened to the other reviewer but when I've needed to change my appointment I've had no issues, I just always call before the appointment time if something comes up. read more

One of the most uncaring,in-compassionate and SNOTTY dermatologist I've ever visited. This lady does not care about her patients, and is all about getting your money. I really don't care if the Office has Marble all over, Waterfalls, Valet Parking etc. What is the point of all that if you are not taken seriously as a patient??? I have visited 2 dermatologists in the past to control my medium grade acne, it has been kept under control but it always seems to come back. But my worst experience yet has been Under Dr. Longwill's care because it never got controlled, it just kept getting worse visit after visit under her supervision, and she did not seem to care, or give any other available options other than the treatments I had already tried. After seeing me in tears over the condition of my skin, she just said, Sorry there nothing I can do for you, acne has no cure. (MIND YOU I HAD MEDIUM ACNE AT THE BEGINNING OF MY TREATMENT WITH HER BUT ENDED WITH SEVERE ACNE UNDER HER CARE) She did however provide me with coupons and sample for discount for a medication that she prescribed. As long as my insurance kept on paying the visits they would call me to follow up every two weeks, as soon as the insurance stopped paying, they stopped calling, and never followed up with me, even though she was aware that my face had deteriorated dramatically under her care. BELIEVE ME if you have Acne and need to visit a dermatologist for that reason avoid this lady and her office all together. She might be a specialist on aging skin, skin cancer, fillers that sort of thing. But this is my experience with her, and wanted to share it with others, and hopefully her office will read this review, and improve their service. read more
