Staff, care quality, facility, food. This was the best hospital experience I have ever had including that of all of my family members.

The patient arrived at Orlando Health Medical Center with severe symptoms, including a blood…read morepressure over 220, shingles, a migraine, and a history of multiple collapses. The patient felt severely dehydrated and requested water, ice chips, and IV fluids repeatedly but was denied basic hydration for an extended period. Medical staff, specifically a nurse named Matthew, were described as dismissive, unhelpful, and verbally aggressive toward the patient. The attending physician was perceived as rushed and failed to address several acute issues, including a bladder infection, ear infection, and the patient's autoimmune disorders. The patient collapsed in the ER while seeking water and felt they were treated with suspicion and malice by staff during the incident. Hospital supervisors, Ruth and a lead shift nurse, allegedly gaslit the patient by defending the nurse's behavior and dismissing the patient's complaints. The patient reported a significant lack of understanding and skepticism from the staff regarding fibromyalgia and other autoimmune conditions. The patient was discharged at 2:00 AM while still symptomatic and felt forced to leave despite being too weak to walk or drive. The patient eventually received proper care at a different hospital and has filed a formal complaint with the ADA.

BEWARE.... Time to…read moreget results and plan of care is insane. I was sent two other peoples medical records so was I being treated based on my results or the other patients reports I received??? Thats a serious HIPPA violation and then would not give me my records after several requests and then are threatening to charge me or they will ONLY send to a physician.... I am a BSN and know that's NOT true....

Let me start by saying, Thank God I found this practice! They literally saved my life... Frandzie…read moreis the most compassionate, caring medical professional I have EVER been to... She truly cares for her patients... and wants to help them get well... I felt like I was dying this year...literally...I couldn't stand without toppling over or running into walls, I couldn't put two thoughts together... I'd forget what I was trying to say MID-WAY in a sentence! I looked like I hadn't slept in months...deep, dark circles under my eyes...my family was super worried about me... I had begun to "get my affairs in order". :( I didn't want my husband or kids to have to get rid of useless stuff when I was gone... they'd be dealing with enough emotional issues... so I was trying to make things easier on them... WHILE just enjoying the rest of my days... Frandzie was determined to find out what was wrong with me and help me... I had blood work done, got some other tests done that I'd never even heard of before, and went to several specialists she referred me to, personally... She went above and beyond to take care of me... Come to find out, I had completely STOPPED producing hormones... Apparently that's a really bad thing...It was suspected that I might have Addison's... Thankfully, that's not what I had... Through her very thorough testing...she discovered the reason my body stopped functioning like it was supposed to. It was actually something super weird that you wouldn't think would cause any issues... One of the medications I was taking (that a different Dr. prescribed me), ALMOST killed me. Once I got OFF that medication, I started improving... I'm not 100% yet, but I'm on my way to being well... :) I'm no longer running into walls, or toppling over... and I can think again... I don't seem like an Alzheimer's patient anymore... :) I am thankful to God that I found this practice and these wonderful people... especially Frandzie... :) The office staff are wonderful! Always kind and willing to help me in any way... I feel at home here... The office at Vanguard Medical Center, is such is so warm and inviting...and when you're called back to a room, it's so cozy... more like a home than a medical office... And Frandzie sits with you and talks to you like a REAL person... You KNOW she cares... Not like most medical offices, where they come in for 5 minutes IF you're lucky... and they give you their best guess... and hope that it works... I LOVE going to my appts here because I know I'm being well cared for... This is the first time in my entire life that I have real hope of getting better... I have other health issues... and I know Frandzie is working to help me live a normal life... Not live a sick life... I wish I had gone to a Functional medicine practice sooner... Thank God for Vanguard and all their wonderful people... Because of them, (and Frandzie), I am alive... :) I'll take Frandzie over ANY medical Dr. out there, hands down! :)

In the end (after a 2 min conversation) she told me she can't help me and I need to find another doctor. She was extremely rude and just mean. I got the impression she is used to dealing with issues she can quickly diagnose/resolve which I should've figured since the business is called "Walk-in clinic" but she is listed as a primary care provider for Tricare and was closest to me. It is very sad that she is an approved primary provider for Tricare recipients. We all deserve better. The funny thing is she has so many accolades (all over 10 years old) posted throughout the office. Makes me wonder if some people in her profession lose their ability to be empathetic. Also, there is only one person working the front of the office which was a huge mess of piles of paperwork everywhere, very unorganized which made me afraid of how they'd handle referrals and other important processes. They are also just behind the times in their processes. I do not recommend this place unless you want to walk out in tears like I did. Truly an unbelievable experience, felt like I was being pranked for a second. Just run the other way.
