I had to come here for DOT purposes but I noticed that even with appointments, you have to wait a very long time. Many patients were so unhappy about this which is understandable but the front desk people weren't the nicest either. They functioned very robotic with their emotions and responses. The guy also made fun of a patient who left his wallet in the car with another patient and I found that to be very unprofessional. The medical examiner doctor and the nurse I got were extremely nice and professional, they get 5 stars! If I had a medical emergency though, yeah no I wouldn't come here ESPECIALLY out of pocket. read more

The doctor or whoever I saw was drilling me to take a covid test. I told her what was wrong as I think I know my body better than her. She wouldn't prescribe me anit botics as I have a cough n sinus pressure. She told to use mucinex. I said so I wasted my money? She said no I evaluated you. I said you didn't tell me anything new. This was my 1st time here. I needed to get into a clinic for an assessment on a sinus infection or flu. Thankfully it wasn't COVID. I was feeling pretty crappy. The Dr was very thorough and easy to talk to. My issue was getting my meds. I gave the staff my pharmacy & when I noticed it was wrong on my paperwork, they said they would change it. It never happened. Just not very good with the details. 5 miles vs 1 mile is alot when you are just not feeling well. read more

Went in for an employee screening and physical. Had to wait over an hour even though I had an appointment. During which I saw someone else come in with a 12pm appointment and be seen and leave before I was called for my 11am appointment. Labor Day most of the urgent care where close. But not this one. I was able to book online from my Celphone and no more stress. I showed up, with my son to do the Covid test so he can be back to school the next day. And the customer service was amazing the gentleman with the name that started with the letter C that was at the counter helped me filled the last details from the tablet, that I couldn't see without my glasses. And then minutes later the nurse called me threw my Celphone. I asked her too, that I had my teenager that was going to be tested now, but I have my two little ones with me too, if that was OK to come in. And she said: yes! No problem. I was so scared and worried because my 15 years old was a minor and I was only adult and my two babies but we were all able to come inside the room, the nurse was so amazing, she did the swab test through the nose to my son minutes later the doctor showed up and gave us a paper and said to wait one or two days or three for the results and really it took only two days, to get the results. If I could give them negative stars I would. My husband was traveling for work when he started feeling unwell. I called this location to see about making an appointment and they told me to go online and do it and assured me that he would be seen at his time or very close to the time of the appointment. Seeing as how he was working and couldn't take too much time off to go to the doctor this was helpful and I told them to please make sure they saw him as close to his time as possible. Well, my husband waited 4 1/2 hours to see a doctor. And didn't leave the clinic for almost 5 1/2 hours. He still had traveling to do for the day and had to get work done. A month later I received a bill in the mail and tried to call them to double check that it had been sent through our insurance because it didn't appear as though it had. I couldn't get anyone on the phone so I reached out to the billing department by email. Two days later, I was asked for the account number which I sent same day. A week later I sent a follow up email then the next week another, the next week another. I repeated this process every week for two months. I finally got an email back 2 1/2 months later to let me know that it had been sent through insurance. Bottom line don't use this location. read more

It's a lovely facility and the staff is nice but the doctors are what really makes this place shine, and why I never go anywhere else. I feel like I've had a lot of issues with doctors in the past where I felt like they were interrogating me, or even gaslighting me into saying my symptoms were not as severe. But I've had 3 different doctors here who were all kind, caring and understanding. They give you a note for school/work before you can even ask for one, and they're efficient but it never feels like they're rushing to the next patient. I work with kids so I get sick relatively often and I never go anywhere else. TIP: always get in line on the website before you go and arrive at your estimated time to be seen, it cuts your wait wayyyy down! read more

I recently went to this urgent care to get checked out for some issues I was having with a ear infection that was accompanied by a respiratory infection. I was prescribed antibiotics that I later accidentally misplaced. In the mist of my mistake I was in contact with Beth, a very nice front desk employee. I called her about 4-5x with the same issue because of the back and forth between the office and the pharmacy. Every time she answered she was very patient, regardless of me calling about the same issue that already had an answer. She was very helpful. The reason I say this is because having someone call you 5x to ask the same question, just to receive the same answer can be very irritating. She did not make me feel like a burden and she was very understanding. Very rarely can you find this in customer service. I really appreciated her help and that she was not dismissive of my issue. More people like this in healthcare please!! read more

I had a great experience today and really appreciate how friendly the staff is at this location! The wait was less then 30 minutes so that was an added bonus. My son was seen by Jenny and she was so sweet and patient and answered all my questions while never making me feel rushed. I will definitely go back again when needing urgent care. read more

This place sucks. They encourage you to come in with no appointment for a COVID test and then make you wait forever. I brought my mom to get tested and told them that she can't sit a long time because she is recovering from pneumonia. They made us wait over an hour...JUST TO GET TESTED! The front desk staff acts like they can't be bothered but I have to sit here and watch them eat lunch. Completely unprofessional and discourteous. I'm never coming back here again. read more

new to Florida and my boys needed Florida physicals just had them in Jan but they won't accept from GA. went to first available spot had 1 pm open got there didn't get seen for 2 hours bc they only had one dr why say you have all of these appt available when tech you don't. with one dr maybe only allow appts every 45 mins not ever 15 mins HORRIBLE never again. read more

Ridiculous patient intake from the website. It says it's an appointment but don't acknowledge the "reservation" when you arrive. Several people went ahead of me. When I inquired she seemed annoyed and tried to say that I maybe had the wrong location when I clearly didn't but she didn't ask to see my confirmation when I offered initially. I am the only Black person in the waiting room with a breathing emergency and I'm watching people taken for sinus infections and less. I haven't been here in a while but will now do my best not to have an emergency and need medical help over the weekend. Poor customer service. Extremely slow intake (while standing) and front staff personnel needs some additional training in working with all individuals. Once I got in the back the nurse was friendly and the in-house PA was quick (probably in the room less than 4 minutes). He ordered everything I needed and I was on my way! I came in with a uti and very intense burning pain. I was told the wait was 30 minutes. Four people were ahead of me and three came in after which appeared to also be walk-ins. The 2 that came in over 30 minutes after me were there for non emergency/ urgent reasons but still taken back before me, one was JUST a drug test. I was sitting there in pain for almost an hour before I decided my urgent need for care wasn't important to them and left. read more

I would rate this chain/location 0 stars if possible. I recently had strep throat, and could tell that I had it again. I went in to this location for a strep test and antibiotics. The staff were not exactly rude, but definitely not friendly or kind. Not a great atmosphere. The doctor would not give me a strep test. He said I had a virus and just needed to take over the counter pain meds and gargle. I had to wait 24 hours to get an appointment at Centra Care. Before I even saw the practitioner, I was given a strep test AND a Covid test. The strep test came back positive and I got the antibiotics I needed. I understand medical staff is overworked. I understand they are repeatedly seeing people at their worst as they are being turned away for Covid testing. However, there really is no excuse for my experience. Both the manager and regional manager were responsive and responded appropriately. However, if they were capable on the front lines, they would not need a caring clean up crew. No amount of apologies would convince me to give this location or chain another chance. read more

My son has had to come here a few times due to Workmans Comp. They initially made an appointment for him & we showed up 15 mins prior & they claim there was no appointment for him. ?????? We finally got in HOURS later. Service by their NP was fine. Fast forward, he needed to go back again today to be cleared to do light work in the office rather than work in the warehouse. So he called again last night to make an appt for today at 1130a. My son arrives 15 mins earlier than his appointment time. He checks in with his appointment time & GUESS WHAT???!!!! There was no appointment for him & the wait is 2 to 3 hours! WTH??? The only reason he comes here is because this is where Workman's Comp authorizes visits. The first time I came here myself, it was nearly a 3 hour wait. After that, I started going to Advent Health Urgent Care & I am in & out within an hour each time! Why can't CareSpot get their act together & start with at least keeping their patients appointments on their books & getting patients out quicker?! My son said when he walked in today there were 2 people in waiting room & they told him it would be 2 to 3 hours wait. This is ridiculous. If it wasn't that my son HAS to go to this location due to Workman's Comp, we would never step through those doors again. I will be sharing this with Workman's Comp too. read more

The person at the reception desk was very dismissive. If you don't have an appointment, they'll turn you away. You can wait, but it'll be 2-3 hours. If that's "too bad" then you can leave or go the ER. This is on an average day in the middle of the afternoon with no one in the waiting room. Even if you're polite and respectful, the man at the reception desk will disregard your health needs. Very unprofessional. I would avoid this place. I went to another urgent care and was in and out. Everytime I book an appointment here, they are over 2 hours late. Then, the physicians seem like they could care less and then try to rush you out. This might be the byproduct of short staffing, but at some point ya gotta fix this. You'd think if they rush everybody, they'd have shorter wait times or honor appointments.
