They took an appropriate amount of time, not so rushed that something would get broken and not so slow that they were trying to extend their time for pay. They wrapped my large furniture in blankets then plastic and it keeps those pieces from being damaged. Nothing was broken during the move. They were polite and efficient. I would 100% recommend Thomas, JD and Wissem (might've misspelled his name). They did a wonderful job and I could rave about this service more.

When I finally had enough and called to cancel, they informed me I was locked into a 36 month contract and would be required to pay out the rest of the contract. In order for my contract NOT to auto-renew I had to give more than 60 days but less than 180 days notice. As soon as I gave notice to not renew, my bill went up AGAIN! And they started calling me continuously trying to talk me out of canceling. I've never dealt with a more slimy, conniving, dishonest company.

LP&L refuses to put the water in the name of the person on our lease because of this outstanding balance that is NOT related to her. LP&L gave NO notice or warning and refused to answer questions when they did turn it off. On top of this, they REFUSE to let us pay for our bill by not setting up an account in our name. and we were LIED to by Brianna H when we visited the office in person. We are now being charged for tampering with the water meter THAT THEIR WORKER TOOK!! and again they are refusing to turn our water on until this tampering charge is paid!! This is in direct violation of the Public Utility Commission of Texas. There are two small children living in the house and this is a HUGE safety concern that LP&L does NOT CARE ABOUT. Told me it was low that had a leak and needed a new ac unit,which would cost me $15,000 with very minimal inspection. He told me it would cost me $300 a pound for replacement and i would need about 7 pounds and he threw out a $2100 price tag. Basically it appeared he was there just to sell me a new unit. He didn't replace what he had taken off to do the inspection. He cut the tape on my inside refrigeration unit and did not replace it and then he left. It was a very bad experience. I have used Earls in the past for plumbing with no problems, but I will not use them ever again for AC. Talked with another AC guy who said they would put stop leak in it for the leak.

A serious one and it only manifested 2 months after our last service call from Earl's. The problem was in the same precise area they had worked and I was certain is was a workmanship/parts issue however in a 25+ yo house there are other things that could be argued. I was very unhappy. What matters here is that no one argued. I called, described the problem, and that morning they had remediation people out and they were fixing the problem. The remediation and repairs were fully done and there have been no problems since. I received a call from the owner asking simply, "What do you think of us?" It mattered to him. I probably learned more about the company in that one unpleasant but well-responded to incident than the half dozen calls previous. These are good people who care about quality.
