It was really nice of Dominique and Amanda to go out of their way and pull various pieces from their back stock for me to try on. Sadly, most of the pieces I really wanted were either much too big or much too small, but thats how vintage goes sometimes. I managed to leave with a 50s cotton dress and a 50s cotton circle skirt, both of which Im very thrilled about. Prices are slightly higher, but overall pretty fair. Theres pieces for every budget in this shop, without a doubt. I'll definitely visit again next time Im in town, and will certainly check out their social media regularly to see if theres anything I might want to have shipped to me. Good Things is very similar to the General Store, but has more items I personally would purchase. I particularly love their children's section, the selection of clothes books and toys is superb. I was very glad to see they sell some of the glass baubles the General Store used to sell. A much smaller selection, but I hope it's something they continue to stock. The racks are organized by size. There are a few fitting rooms and one large pedestal/mirror area. The customer service was top-notch, helping to hold and carry dresses and organizing the wait for the fitting rooms. When we arrived, the store was packed with several families doing the same thing that we were. The staff was calm and was able to organize everyone while not making anyone feel rushed or impatient. They paid equal amounts of attention to each girl trying on dresses, making everyone feel special. One of the ladies who helped us is also a designer, who makes some of the dresses that are available in the store. It seems they also handle all fittings and alternations, and many items like the color of little flowers, pearls and crystals and other embellishments can be customized.

I want to love this store, but it definitely has a lot of room for improvement…read more Main Pros -Their dress selection is beautiful - A variety of prices to fit many budgets -Staff is sweet, one did bring over a singing toy which calmed down my niece a lot Cons -It's a kid's store but it has a lot of things kids shouldn't touch right at their eye levels -They mandate booking a changing room in advance but we waited for an extensive amount of time while they let someone else into our charging room- and then rushed us out of the room after only one dress instead of allowing my niece time to get used to the space and possibly be okay with trying on more dresses. Ultimately I would return since I like being able to see items in person instead of buying online. But I really recommend sticking to appointment times or making the rooms first come, first serve.
