It was a decent price a few weeks ago when I was there but it's also hard to compare seeing as it's the only gas around for probably about twenty plus miles. The nearest gas to this place is maybe, back in Luray which is a bit of a hike if you're running low. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No, as everything was gas station clean and there was a girl scout cookie sale going on out front which was neat as seemingly everybody pulling up for gas/going into the quickie mart knew each other. Kind of neat yet kind of also kind of Stepfordishly freaky. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Check! On/Off Route 211 was a breeze. Human intervention needed? No, as the CC terminal worked as expected and we were on our way in no time. Three star gas station bliss achieved!

I grabbed a coffee and we talked for a few minutes - for what ever reason we starred talking about Romania (ask him about it.). Outside there was a small local farmers market with great produce, baked goods, roasted almonds, etc. After my tail ride I stopped back for a pepperoni roll - totally worth it. It seems like the heart of little Fort Valley.

Stopped in to pick up a cheap styrofoam cooler and some ice - had bought some meat products at a local farmers market which I has not planned on - and wanted to keep the product cold. No dice! Or I should say - they don't carry any coolers - just ice. I picked up some cold bottled water and asked to use the restroom. They directed me around back - turns out it is a Porta Potty/Dons Jon facility - not an actual restroom. They have all the normal convenience store goods here - soda, water, snacks, basic toiletries and supplies. Gas pumps outside. Staff was friendly and apologetic about not having coolers.

I was driving with a bunch of girls and they loved exploring the well stocked snack aisles and icee machines which had frosty lemonade, mountain dew, blue raspberry, and cherry flavors available. Bathrooms were clean, employees were kind, and they had a few shaded tables outside to enjoy our slushies in the sunshine. It doesn't get any better than this!

She should not be granted the gift of working anywhere, let alone with public. The food was okay ... in other words, it did what it was supposed to do - which is to fill my belly, and thats it. The trashy way I was treated, more like a nuisance than a human being and paying customer, ultimately won the prize for worst meal ever. Take a wild guess if I'll be back LOL!
