Beware! Brought my car in for a simple tire change and specifically asked beforehand if they could do the job without damaging my rims. I was assured it would be fine, but I ended up leaving with fresh damage on multiple areas of the wheel. Two huge gashes on one rim and damage the entire outer edge on other. What made the experience worse was the way it was handled afterward. At first the staff admitted the machine likely caused the damage, but after talking among themselves they suddenly changed the story and claimed they weren't sure what caused it because they "didn't have before pictures." Instead of actually helping resolve the issue, I was given a phone number to call. I've spent the entire week calling, leaving voicemails, and sending texts with no response from anyone. Mistakes can happen, but avoiding responsibility and ignoring customers afterward is unacceptable. If you care about your wheels, especially aftermarket or gloss black rims, I'd strongly recommend taking detailed before pictures and thinking twice before coming here. read more

Do NOT go to Ron's Used Tires in Warrenton, Virginia. They lie through their teeth just to get your business, and then they do a total bait and switch. My husband was shopping around for two used tires for our son's girlfriend's car. The car needs an alignment, and her old front tires were showing belt. Buying used tires was meant to be a temporary fix to drive safely until she can get the alignment done later this month. "Lenny" at Ron's Used Tires in Warrenton told my husband they had two tires in the size needed, and they would install them for a total of $120.00. He said they would "hold them" for our son to come by for the install this weekend. My husband offered to pay a deposit for the tires, but he was told, "No, not necessary, I'll put a note on them for you." Today, our son's girlfriend took time off from work to have the tires put on, but... BIG SURPRISE... no one in the shop knew anything about them. But "Hey, we have brand new tires for $100 more!" When my husband got on the phone and talked to the guy who was there (it wasn't Lenny, of course), they agreed to give her a slight discount. She was desperate to put new tires on, so she went ahead and paid $80 more than we were quoted. Been to the Front Royal locations many times always had a positive experience. Warrenton location is terrible. Damaged my rims by placing it on the tire machine improperly. Didn't charge me for the tire repair. Not to apologize for damaging my rim but to keep me from taking them to court for damaging my 500 dollar rim. The manager there told me "we have signs everywhere than say not responsible for damage to vehicles, rims, tires while preforming work on your vehicle". So you sell services to vehicles, tires and rims but are not responsible for the work you sell. Sounds like terrible business ethics. The manager was extremely rude and ultra aggressive he needs to be fired. NEVER take your vehicle here unless you want your vehicle damaged. By far the most inexperienced group of people working in this location. I have a set of 33x1250 tires on my truck. Bought a set of tires for them to put on that are the exact same brand and model tire currently on my truck just one size bigger. They told me that my new tires won't work due to my wheels being to wide and the bead of the tire was to steep for the install. It's the exact same tire currently on my truck so it's obvious it'll work. After driving close to a hour, then taking my 33" tire off, trying to mount the 35" with no luck then installing back my 33" tire which is exactly the same as my new ones. Seems like they didn't want to work today and made up excuses not to do the work Let's keep in mind they re installed the 33" tire which is the exact same brand and model as the 35". Worlds most expensive tire repair. A 20 dollar repair that cost $500 dollars. Worst experience for a flat repair damaged the rim my truck while remounting the tire to the rim. I went to Ron's in Gainesville as they had helped me before. Today they didn't have my size tires so they sent me home to the Ron's here in Warrenton. The guy at the counter already knew I was coming. He was very nice. Pretty smile. I checked in and sat for about and hour 15 min before they could pull my car into the shop. They were very busy. People in and out often while I was there and I think there were only 4 people working. Poor guys. It was hot too. After getting my car in the garage it was about another 30/45 min and we were done. 4 slightly used tires. $190. They guarantee for 30 days to adjust or fix as needed. Im fine with that. Was it nice and cool in the waiting area? No. Was it clean and fresh smelling? No. Did I receive smiley customer service and 4 good used tires for low cost? Yes. Yes, I did. Have used this place a few different times and each time the experience has went down. The last time less than 2 months ago purchased new tires for my sons car. He drove to Ron's talked to someone and they said they needed to order the tires come back in 2 days. The next day I received a call from Mark the manager asking why we did not get the tires in stock. I had to call my son and go over all the details. We were told the tires were not in stock and we needed to wait. Mark said the tires we got were more expensive and had a better warranty. Mark asked if I would be willing to talk with the owner to complain. I was not interested in that just want the tires. 2 days later my son went to get the tires. They stripped the studs, scratched the rims and did not do star pattern. We talked with Mark who said go across the street and he would pay to get it fixed. We went across the street they told us we can't help you because they don't pay us. So we were left to figure out. Well today we were were on our way to dinner for my sons birthday he got a flat tire. We changed to the spare and headed to Ron's. We pulled up and a younger gentleman came right up "looks like you need some new tires" I explained to him that we just got these tires 2 months ago. He said they must be bad tires. I said well you all did them he walked away. Several moments later someone else came out. I asked for Mark. I was told he no longer works there he informed me he was the new manager. I showed him the tires he started to provide excuses. He said this is not a tire issue this is a problem with the car. He said the car rides at a tilt and need an alignment and to be fixed. After about 15 minutes of telling me why this is not his issue I asked to talk with his manager. He said the number inside on the wall was for complaints. I got the number. Called 3 times and went to voicemail. I requested to speak with the owner. He said he will tell me to handle this and that is what I'm doing. I asked again for him to get me a number of someone to speak with. He gave me a paper and pen and said write down your information and when I get to it I will tell the owner to call you. Then he proceeded to walk away. I stopped him. I have a flat tire the other tires are in extremely bad condition. I need solutions you have given me nothing but excuses and reasons why this is not your problem. He walked away came back a few seconds later and said I have a used tire only 1 here and I can sell it to you for $50. Then again he walked away. Still not taking the paper with my number on it. Feeling very uncomfortable I left. I will NEVER use Ron's in Warrenton again. I will spend money to replace the less than 2 month old tires and hopefully find someone that still believes in customer service. The new manager is extremely rude and doesn't listen to the customers or the problems just thinks about how he can sell you something. My son informed me he was the guy that told him the fist time they did not have the tires in stock. They had tires in stock priced well below every competitor. Plus their price included balancing and mounting. For the full set of 4 tires, I saved literally hundreds of dollars from what the dealer was asking and what the nationally known tire stores were asking. Save money - buy from Ron's Used Tires. If I could give 10 stars I truly would Had a nail in the side wall of one of my tires. Called and talked to one of the fellas at Ron's. Stopped in and ended up ordering 2 new tires.
