Zach, the manager, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful when scheduling our appointment. He answered all of our questions and made us feel confident that Gracie would be in great hands. When we arrived, Myrna, the owner, took so much time getting to know Gracie Mae, asking about her personality, grooming history, any allergies, medical information, and exactly how we wanted her groomed. She also explained all of the wonderful services they offer and made thoughtful recommendations. You can immediately tell how much she truly loves and cares about every dog that comes through her door. Gracie Mae came out absolutely gorgeous! Her haircut is perfect, she smells amazing, and she looked so happy and comfortable when we picked her up. We couldn't stop smiling! They even put the sweetest little pink bow in her hair and a matching pink bandana around her neck, which was such a thoughtful finishing touch. Their prices are very reasonable, and they also have the cutest dresses, accessories, toys, and other goodies for your fur babies. The salon is beautiful, clean, and so welcoming. We have been searching for the right groomer since our longtime groomer left, and we are so incredibly happy to have found Ooh La La Posh Pets right here in our hometown. I had my dog training classes here, and that's how I started coming to this location; but I have to tell you the customer service from the store is unrivaled. If there's something you need, just call and check on it. They're happy to check in stock, They also have a website you can order through that too, 99.9% of the time what you're looking for is a stocked item,and on the rare occasion that it is not or you have an item as I did a special cat food recommended by the vet they did not have on the shelf they called another location, had it there for me the next day! I also have a bad back and I cannot carry large bags of dog food for my dog....put my back out once they had the food delivered to my house free of charge which is a service they offer as well; if I go to the store, they are happy to bring it to my car for me if needed. Unfortunately, Levi tested positive for anaplasmosis. I was informed that follow-up testing is necessary because he might have been exposed at a different time. Last year, he tested negative, but after finding ticks on him four weeks ago and noticing stiffness when he got up, I decided to have him tested again. The result is that I now must wait a week for an appointment with my regular veterinarian to obtain the necessary medication for Levi. According to my conversation with VIP Pet Care's customer service and veterinarian, if your pet is diagnosed with a condition, they cannot provide treatment. Meanwhile, I received an email offering NexGard Chewables but not the required antibiotic, as they operate as a "mobile" vet service. Additionally, I overheard a conversation with a woman ahead of me, whose dog may have been uncooperative during the visit. For whatever reason, they couldn't draw the dog's blood; therefore, they offered her a coupon to return another day for the procedure. It might be more appropriate to consider refunding her payment.
