Toni graciously allowed me to stay, watch my dog, all while sitting online through my zoom class and repeating Italian words while my dog was groomed, and assured that both him and the groomer were happy and well for our visit. I even double-checked beforehand to confirm the cost, and everything was set and scheduled. The night before the appointment, we followed their instructions and adjusted our cat's feeding schedule. We also gave her Trazodone to help ensure she would be calm and relaxed for the grooming. I took time off from work to be home for the appointment, only to receive an email about 30 minutes beforehand stating there would be an additional $100 "handling fee." I never saw the email in time, and no one called or texted to discuss it. Instead, no one showed up for the appointment. The complete lack of communication, professionalism, and consideration for my time was extremely disappointing. After confirming the price, preparing our pet, and taking time off from work, I expected much better customer service.

They're also very personable and carry out conversations, which is a nice touch. They didn't recently change the front end of the place. Now, I think they only have two registers. I didn't notice that they had a little adoption case for kittens/cats at the other side of the registers by the front wall. They didn't have any kitten/cats when I walked in so I don't know how new it is.
