Fantastic! I can't say enough good things... first we had a weird set of light arrangements on the back of our house.. replacement lights already bought we just needed knowledge and a good company to perform the job. Mike was the only one respectful enough to come out to look at the job without cost to let me know his ideas on how to solve our problems and install the new lights in a better way. (For a job over $1000. one would think other companies would also be just as respectful) On top of the great ideas Mike had, his crew came out and did a fantastic job. They did run into random wires in the planting bed... (from a former sprinkler system they should have been in conduit but were not). I told them to ignore the wires thinking they were from before we lived here. I found out I was wrong and they were still needed to work the system. Well Mike sent his crew back out to patch up one wire. When I found another wire later, Mike not only came out to fix it but when the zone would still not work he was making calls and playing with our system until he found the sprinkler guy had not tightened the wire connectors. Wanted to get our electrical panel generator ready. 1 electrician never answered their phone. Another electrician scheduled a time to come and give an estimate and never showed or called to follow up. Mike at South Sound Electrical was able to come out quickly for an estimate, showed up on time, got the estimate to me by the time promised, and was able to get the work scheduled right away once we decided to move forward. Mike came over to a rental property of mine and took care of the problem right away. He was very professional and thorough.

Good customer service and response time. Fairly thorough job and communication. After about 30 minutes of checking outlets and switches, he determined that the breaker had been blown for a while and it was one of the unused outlets that wouldn't need to be repaired. I was given a bill for $150 with no explanation and for no repairs performed. When asked what the hourly rate was, they simply replied that it was a minimum of $150. read more

SERVICE EXPERIENCE 1 Just before Christmas were experiencing issues with our electrical appliances and needed an electrician to help identify the problem. Mike from 'South Sound Electrical' offered to swing by our place at the end of his day and see what he could do. He quickly identified the issue to a short in our main electrical box and had it fixed that evening. SERVICE EXPERIENCE 2 The electrical box needed replacing (we had many electricians tell us that over the years) so we got 2 bids to do the work. Mike's bid was very competitive and I knew that he did good work so we went with him. We were very pleased with his workmanship and the box that he installed. OVERALL ASSESSMENT His final bill did not exceed his initial quote. The electrical inspector noted that the electrical box was one of the best on the market. Overall he did good job. My elderly mother lives in Olympia, and she woke up one morning to dim lights and non-working appliances. Mike came on A SUNDAY, spent the time it took to identify a faulty line between the power line and the house and stayed until PSE came to hook her up to a temporary service. I scheduled service for a couple of small electrical items in my home this week, and no one showed up or called. I called the office to find out what happened, was told there was some confusion and someone was out but they would reschedule for the next day. I called the morning of the reschedule to confirm, and asked if they would call if there was any problem. Again, no show and no call. Clearly did not want my business. read more
