Standing at Alabang-Zapote road and near the highway, South Station Mall is both obvious and invisible. While it's in a very strategic location, many people like me usually just pass through it. It's just a gateway to other destinations. Even before the centralized South Station bus terminal, there was already a jeepney terminal right beside the mall, and I rode a Balibago jeepney here once.
But what South Station Mall lacks in visibility and eye-catching appeal, it makes up for in prices. I notice that boutiques here have cheaper prices than in other malls. And some have really nice designs. I was able to get a nice skirt here.
There are also tiangges here, again, with affordable clothes. I bought a blue shirt here for less than P100, which I usually find in other tiangges for P100 or more.
There are nice things to buy at South Station if you stop for a while and look around. read more
