Little to no disk in my thoracic and lumbar spine. I'm always in pain, but it's tolerable. When you always feel bad, it's nice to have a doctor that has an incredible bedside manner, is kind, gentle and caring. I can't imagine what my life would be like without him in it. He manages to keep the pain bearable. I've come to depend on knowing that he genuinely cares about not just me, but all of his patients. I've had the pleasure to meet Dr Harandi and Dr Ngo and find both men to be of the same caring nature. I can't imagine Dr. Atallah working with anyone that would serve patients less than his expectations. It is his Practice, and it is top notch in every way. The staff at Modern Pain Management are always Kind, Helpful and they go out of their way to assist. The Pain Clinic also speaks for itself the second you walk in you immediately see and feel the difference. No monkey business going on at this place. The DEA won't be busting in. No, it's all on the up and up. And thank goodness it is. Trust is so important. I'm so grateful I found Modern Pain Management. They are the best Houston has to offer.

Treatments consisted of 4 steroid injections in the lower back, administered over 158 days. Injections did not alleviate pain within 2 days as expected; however, follow-up injections were not administered for 71 to 30 days between injections which led to an extended period of time the patient was in pain. The patient's request to reduce time between shots was rejected because, according to office personnel, time between injections was dictated by the Insurance Provider. Insurance company representatives stated they approve administration of specific injections BUT DO NOT define time between injections. This failure to attend to the patient's medical problem and offering false information to the patient support an UNACCEPTABLE review for the Brazos Paint Management medical business.

It started with injections and nerve pain medication. When those things weren't working he started me on a pain patch, finally something that helps. However, when I arrived for my third visit, I was told I needed to pay for it. Wait, what? The doctor said I could go ahead and proceed, and that they would check things out with me later. Then, for my fourth visit, I was informed that my insurance didn't cover the third visit, so I didn't receive treatment and canceled the appointment on the spot. Here's the issue: when I arrived in extreme pain, I electronically signed a small print agreement that stated something entirely different from what I had been told. I didn't pay much attention to the fine print--my mistake, I admit--because I trusted the doctor's word. I was assured that the third and fourth visits would be included, but that wasn't the case. Not only did they charge me for the third visit, which I was originally told would be covered, but they also charged me for the partial fourth visit, which I canceled on the spot after being informed of the insurance issue. I was led to believe that the follow-up appointments were included in the first two.

I went 2 times a week for about 6 weeks then once a week for 2 weeks. I would start out with Dr. Le who would provide intense pressure and massage to the area of concern and then spend the last 30 minutes with a physical therapist who taught me stretches and exercises to do daily. All indivdualized to my needs. After the 8 weeks of treatment and daily routine of exercises I was about 90% pain free. I received and lower lumbar injection from Dr. McKay and now 100 percent pain free. Drs. Le and McKay are amazing combo.
