But now all thats left in the mall is a JC penny's , Dave and busters and some other businesses that are open in the mall. The good part is that most of the mall would be repurposed for different types if jobs and retail Such as a hospital being constructed in the old Sears, a tile shop opening in the abandoned Maceys And also other building being repurposed/built around the mall.

This mall has lost its shoppers steadily over the last 10+ years like most malls. It's a barren…read morewasteland when you walk through the empty spaces where businesses once lived. During the holidays they still had put up their xmas decorations which was nice. They have recently rented out part of the building to UofR medical offices so things will be much much different than in years past. Dicks sporting goods is still around, RPM speedway and Dave and busters are attractions located at the mall but have been shut down for to covid for almost a year now. I usually go to get my healthy steps in and not be in the cold. It's great in that regard .

The Pittsford Wegmans and Calkins Pittsford are the larger cleaner and fancier ones around. Right across from the wegmans there's this plaza called Pittsford Plaza that includes an upscale steak house called Blue and Black, a pizza shop, a cafe for sandwiches/coffee, a J Crew Warehouse, Carter's, Michael's, Barnes and Noble, Swim school, Trader Joes, and a bunch of other little shops all int he same parking lot. For moms looking for a place to take their young children in and out and hanging out, this is the place to go to! The parking lot isn't dangerous like the Costco parking lot or the East Ave Wegmans (VERY dangerous). The shoppers aren't aggressive and are friendly. The crowd is safe and overall happy. Right across from this plaza there's even a Taichi Bubble tea, prometric, URMC Urgent Care, and a bunch of other upscale restaurants.

It is a little confusing on how to enter the building, but once in, it is a great space. I love the artwork, and sculptures. This time I went on a Sunday to the craft show and a lot of the businesses were closed, but there were many open as well including a unique shop that sold knickknacks and chalk paint, a cute coffee shop, a mystical shop, and a children's book store.
