The "white glove" packing was completed on 8/27/18, goods were loaded on 8/28/18 and delivered on 9/4/18. As there was evidence of damage to some household goods, we had swiftly alerted the broker (SafeWay Moving & Storage) the same day of delivery, asking them to address the issue for us. After the broker confirmed they were getting nowhere w/ Stevens related to any damages, I was informed on 10/18/19 to file an official claim myself, which I did on 10/19/18. Relating to one of our most prized pieces of furniture, our buffet was rebuilt by the driver/team upon delivery. However, when the legs put back on underneath, either the wrong screws were used or they were tightened too much, puncturing the inside of the cabinet from the bottom up, which was completely unnoticeable until we had began loading the cabinet well after the team had gone. Without sending anyone to my property to physically inspect the damage, Stevens had swiftly denied my claim on 10/25, with the following rebuttal, which they continue using today. "As this item is one that would be used on a daily basis it is reasonable to conclude that if the loss occurred while the item was in our custody, it would have been noticed either at delivery or shortly thereafter. The damage/loss for this item was not reported until 46 days after delivery. We find that the 2nd element of Carmack has not been proven. When this shipment delivered you signed the inventories acknowledging that the shipment was received in apparent good condition unless otherwise noted. You did not note any damage to this item at the time of delivery. There is no evidence that the damage that is now being claimed is a result of our handling or that this item changed condition while under our care, custody, and control. Therefore, we must respectfully deny liability." Unfortunately, they continue holding their line on this excuse. And their contracts are written so vaguely that any wrongdoing will always be pointed back at the consumer while protecting their corporation.

Cramming a 5 x 7 $2000 mirror at the opening for it to fall upon opening the door!! Inexcusable on EVERY level from start to finish! They did not even properly tag items as some were coming to a home and others to storage so I needed up with 4 items at the house that were to be in storage and vice versa in the storage! Just before the stay at home order in Michigan we needed the house we are selling and the apartment where my mom is temporarily living cleaned. Because we've never used a cleaning service in Michigan before we had no idea how to find one. Yelp is my go to for so many things and it's been great for other projects on the house so I used the request a quote feature and found No Limit. The house was a full job with everything needing to be dusted and the bathrooms needing a good post construction clean up. They were able to come on short notice which was a huge help. The also did a great job a couple days later at the temporary apartment. My mom was coming home and we needed the apartment to be totally disinfected so it would be safe for a senior in this COVID 19 world. We are so glad that we found No Limit and recommend them.

My husband and I have done many home renovation projects and knew the questions to ask, and we also know the process of redoing floors. To start, Alton and his wife were friendly and came across like they knew what they were doing. I confirmed the project and let him do his work. We wanted to support a small business. Alton sent us photos when the project was complete and we were very excited about how nice the floors looked in the photos. So, we paid him. We were not able to walk on the floors for another 24 hours, but when we returned to the home, we were immediately shocked by how much debris and dust was stuck in the varnish. In every room, across all of our floors was dust and debris stuck in our new floors! Not only were we extremely disappointed in the finish of the floors, but as another reviewer mentioned, there was a centimeter of dust in every surface of our home. This is something I asked him about ahead of time. I have in writing that he has a low dust sander and he would not leave dust behind. At this point we were upset about our floors and we needed to wash every wall and surface in the home before moving in. (The Home was perviously professionally cleaned) . We called Alton and spoke with him. He was polite on the phone and agreed to meet us to go over the work and make it right. So, my husband took a day off of work and waited at the home for Alton to not show up. We have given him many chances to fix his mess, he has not. This was truly a terrible experience and I would strongly advise not going with this company. They will ruin your floors and run. Oh, he also changed his number ... watch out!
