Update 2021. Still dealing with issues from their poor workmanship. Had to hire a professional landscaper to replace all the electrical wiring for my landscape lights. New landscaper said he was surprised how bad it was when he got here. Found spliced wires leading to shortages and used wiring buried under water pipes. read more

Hard time writing this review but I thought others should have buyers beware. I chose them to do my yard because they were the most expensive. They always say you get what you pay for. Well in this case I didn't get what I paid for. They ensured me my yard would have details that I asked for. Unfortunately I felt rushed thru the process. The original plans I agreed on were changed mid-project. Then I was told they never agreed to do my specific requests that currently matched my existing yard decor. I would not use them again nor recommend them. I should have used a cheaper bid. They finished my yard and I honestly am not happy. Wish I would have read the reviews first. read more

Two years ago, our previous landscaper "fixed" our sprinkler system and ended up killing our entire lawn, along with most of our shrubs. In the past year and a half I called several other landscaping companies that would come out, take measurements and then never contact us back with a quote, turns out all the new subdivisions in the area are more lucrative than a fixer job. Enter South Valley, they came out, looked at the area, gave a ball park figure and followed with an itemized invoice a few days later and they were about average on price, maybe a bit on the high end. I did have to pay a portion up front, then wait six weeks for work to start, once the materials arrived at my house there was another payment due, then the last payment when the job was finished. It took 3-4 days, they cut my internet on day one, but it was fixed that day by the cable company. They listened to what we wanted and were helpful guiding my decisions when I wasn't sure on what I actually wanted and the yard turned out great because of that. read more

This is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. They told us our yard would take 7-10 days. We got to week 8 and finally fired them. They made up excuse after excuse and turned everything into a fight. They front load the payments in their contracts, which wouldn't really matter if they got done in the 7-10 days like they said they would. They also didn't put a completion date in the contract (shame on me for signing that) and wow do they take advantage of that. We got about two weeks in, they had about 95% of our payments and then our yard sat pretty much untouched for a month. We dealt with a salesman named Gary but the unprofessionalism was not limited to him. Towards the end we were dealing mainly with the owner Dino and he acted the same way, going as far as to personally insult us over text message when he couldn't get his way. The quality of work is ok. We didn't have anything crazy in terms of what we asked them to do. I think they're overpriced so for what we paid them the work is ok. Other than having to fire them and hiring someone else to finish up. read more

This review is long overdue but after almost one year after South Valley Landscaping completed the transformation of our backyard into an oasis of tranquility, we wanted to thank David, Tracy and the crew for the tremendous work they performed. David and Tracy were very responsive to our need and accessible to answer questions or address design changes as the work progressed. Their expertise and ability to translate our vision into reality was invaluable to the implementation of a well thought out design that meets all of our needs. They tackled some very large hardscape projects including a very long retaining wall from the front to the back of the property and a large raised flagstone patio. They were instrumental in assisting us with the choice of trees and shrubs and did an excellent job designing and installing the irrigation system to maximize water conservation efforts. We would highly recommend South Valley Landscaping for the design, installation and/or maintenance of new or existing landscapes, hardscapes or irrigation needs. read more
