It used to be a good place to go but they don't have good customer service anymore! When you call there, they won't answer their phone you get to leave a message not knowing if they will ever call you back, they say at their convenience. Which means good luck if you have anything you got to do that day because you can wait all day like I did without getting a call. Wes Violet has been my parent's vet for years. Always for horses. Well, had to travel home while my husband is deployed for a family emergency. My dog Spur, had been an insulin dependent diabetic for a little over a year, he had gone blind about 4 months ago, and got diagnosed with Cushings. His quality of life was going down fast. We ended up taking him with us to live on the farm for the rest of his days. He had some great moments in those last few weeks. But it was time, he was in pain. I called and made an end of life appointment with them. They didn't know me, they didn't understand that I have been watching our pup slowly decline. He still wanted to eat and didn't seem like he wasn't ok to the outside. So they had to take my word for it. I thought I would have to sit there and convince them, it would have been so hard to do and so stressful especially without my husband. But they didn't need that. They took me at my word and helped me get my best friend over the rainbow bridge. It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. They have a small candle that they light to let others know to be quieter. And they helped me with the paperwork and getting a spreading tube (to spread his ashes), I wanted to save that for when my husband gets back. Then they called me the next week and I went to get his remains. A week and a half later, I got a card in the mail, with everyone's signature. This meant the world to me that these people, Wes Violet's people, that didn't know my doggy, trusted me, and genuinely did their best to make this super tough experience go so well. Thank you. I had my boys first vet visit with south Willamette and it went great ! From the front desk ladies to the vet assistant and vet themselves, everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable and gave me a lot of great feedback and asked me questions if I was concerned with anything. My dog has some anxiety problems and especially with vets, but they worked and did an amazing job with him! And my old vet wouldn't let you go into the exam rooms because of Covid, but even when Covid was done with they still didn't allow you to go back with your pets and south Willamette does which helps a lot with his anxiety! Overall, if you're looking for a new vet clinic, I would easily recommend south Willamette. Very friendly staff and vets. read more

While Dr. Shelton was nice, everything else was awful. The front desk staff was rude and both times we went in they were an hour or more behind schedule. We were quoted a price for radiographs and after signing for this fee, ended up being charged nearly $200 more than the quoted rate and told that "normally they'd have called but" they were "short staffed" and without it "may not have been able to properly diagnose." Diagnose my dog who ended up being fine, mind you. Save yourself the trouble and find a different vet. read more

You know how some doctors have no bedside manners? Well, I quickly discovered some vets don't either. I contacted their emergency line after hours and was not at all pleased with the 'help' one of their vets (Dr. Wes Violet) provided us. I sincerely hope no one has to experience what we did during a very tough time for my husband and I when we were dealing with an emergency for our late kids, Savannah & Prairie. I am now looking for a different goat and emergency vet to rely on for future situations. read more

Worst. Experience. With a vet and staff. EVER. Literally run the other way. I'm just happy my poor cat got proper care after switching vets immediately after they "possibly neutered" my cat and left him in his carrier long enough to pee in it several times and tried forcing us to pay for everything. This vet should be ashamed, I am mortified at my experience here and have told everyone I know about it so I can hopefully prevent anyone else from having such a horrid experience taking their fur children to these monsters read more

Terrible. I will never use this place again. I was charged a farm call after the vet refused to perform an equine dental float. (When I called to make the appt. the receptionist assured me the location to perform the float was acceptable). When I called to ask why I was charged a farm call, a vet tech, Heather, and a receptionist, Shelby, told me the vet would call me to explain. But she never did. I've been using South Willamette Vet Clinic since it opened in 2004 in Creswell. Wes Violet has cared for our horses and was always incredibly friendly and even took the time to show our teenage daughter what he was doing each time. Very much appreciate the quality care he provided, even during the middle of the night when needed. His wife, Kris Willaman, has cared for all of our dogs, cats, and puppies. The staff is friendly and helpful, and always so quick to figure out an appointment time when we have an urgent or emergency situation. Good vet care from people you feel care about you and your pets is hard to find. Highly recommend this clinic and vet staff! read more

These guys are amazing. I live in Springfield and drive all the way to Creswell to bring my dog to see them. They are very nice and caring to your pet, and their fees are very reasonable. I was referred to them from one of my coworkers who lives almost in Santa Clara, and she takes all three of her dogs to see these vets as well. I highly recommend them. read more

Yesterday I went to the clinic for the first time and I had an appointment with Dr. Hailee Olheiser... what a nice, nice vet who seems genuinely caring. I really appreciated that kind of care for my dog, and she was thorough in making sure to look into all possible problems that could be going on. I was also able to get into the clinic the same day that I called in to make an appointment. I was told that Dr. Olheiser started a couple months ago. I highly recommend Dr. Olheiser. read more

I love how much time they always seem to spend with us and our pets. My husband says that he thinks they are cheaper then some of the vets we've had before. He also likes that they tell you how much everything is going to cost before doing it. Our one dog only had minimal shots and we will be tittering her later. They were happy to go along with that which also made us happy. read more

It is funny how the honest bad reviews get removed. They did surgery on my dog and failed to recognize that my dog had an internal infection from the surgery that they performed. I took him back to them because he was not acting right and they said he had gas and sent us home with nausea medicine and discontinued his antibiotics. My dog died the next night at the emergency center in Eugene because I trusted them. They didn't even care enough to sign the computer generated sympathy piece of paper they sent me. That was like a total reminder of how stupid I was for trusting my dog with them. read more
