I tried to get an appointment to get my eyes examined in East Hampton and they gave me an appointment in Connecticut. Then they emailed me and told me I could have an appointment in East Hampton but when I got there for my appointment the people at that location said they don't do eye exams in East Hampton. You cannot call the store directly. Very frustrating. Just know there is no customer service.

Years ago I went to Dr. Parker for my glasses. I'd been using someone else since then, but went…read moreback to Dr Parker recently after a big change in my Rx. The receptionist, McKenzie, was rude on the phone from the outset. Snarky, disagreeable, decidedly, intentionally UNhelpful. My appointment turned out not to be with Dr Parker as I'd expected, but with Debra Kakaris, a licensed optician. The glasses were ordered on December 21st. I was told I could pick them up on December 28, which I did. Neither Debra nor Dr Parker made any attempt to fit them to me! They were just going to hand them to me and be done with it! WHAT? For $265. (lenses only) I should think there'd be better follow-up than that! I have never had glasses just handed to me. Dr Parker finally gave a cursory check and I paid the balance (by cc) and left. I've just received a BILL for the balance! I made the mistake of calling the office and got the world's most unpleasant receptionist, McKenzie, again who told me I could call the number on the bill to work it out. There was no answer at that number. Nor have they called me back. I called twice - the second time to say I had the cc receipt from the payment. An ugly transaction. I will never go there again and I'll tell everyone I know not to either.
