Whoever the Marshall that was on duty needs to be spoken to, and maybe even terminated. We started our round with four walkers in front of us and two walkers behind us and I had purchased two teetimes because I had five people. At at the turn, we stopped at the clubhouse to get some lunch and had to wait for our food to be cooked. While we were eating, the Marshal came in and told us we needed to get back out on the course immediately that this was not a sit down and eat facility, it was a grab and go. We left without arguing, but when I looked at my watch, I realized we had only been on the course for two hours, and when we got to the 10th T box, the walkers were still in the middle of the fairway. We ended up finishing our 18 hole round exactly at the four hour mark while following two sets of walkers. His attitude during the turn set a very poor example for my two boys that were golfing with me. If you're going to serve cook to order food, then the Marshall needs to take a chill pill. That is the only reason for the two star review today. The course is beautiful, the facilities are great, and normally I have an exceptional experience with all of the staff, but whoever was working today was horrible.

We had to wait for our food in the first place.. and so we were eating after doing 9 holes, not even holding anyone up, dont try to tell me we are being a nuisance. Either figure out how to say that respectfully or just shut the hell up. Again, the course wasnt bad, game went well, this isnt against The Links' course, but the marshal seems to ruin the whole experience, this comes from my whole group, aswell as someothers i overheard talking about his attitude.

They needed to put the money into a full refresh but never did. North Creek had some of - if not the best - greens in the area back in 2012 - 2015 with mini-verde grass that was rolled and mowed to perfection. The crew knew what they were doing back then, but I believe they were never given the budget to make it what it could have been.

Are you a consistently straight driver of the golf ball? I mean really straight -- like never more…read morethan 10-15 yards off center. You are? Then give my review an extra star; low handicappers are gonna love this course. If you are not, then this course is gonna be frustrating. The fairways are very nice, but narrow and if you can't find them, you're probably OB, in a water hazard, or buried under landscaping. If you fail to lose your ball entirely to one of these fates, you're still gonna be wandering too long through the thick rough searching for it. The greens are lovely, but undulating and quick. The course is just really damn challenging for most weekend duffers. Still, the carts, customer service, clubhouse and food are really good. Definitely worth a look, but bring your A-game for sure.

Many of the guests live in the hotel while they pull shifts at the local hospital. There is a Continental Breakfast in the morning. The wait staff will yell across the breakfast area at the front desk personal or at random guests. They have names for regular customers like "oatmeal" or "coffee black". I guess this is funny to them.

Checking was flawless and staff was great, got to room and it was as I remember a great room. One reason I wanted to stay here was the "fire pit" they have an outside area and they have this fire pit and I smoke cigars and it was going to be cold so I could enjoy and have some warmth. Problem in that the fire pit was not working it turned on and you smelled the gas but it was not lighting, I asked the staff person about this and he said you just have to turn it till it clicks and it will lite. Well back outside I go and turned but no "click"... I finally took my lighter put it towards the center of the pit and turned gas on and ... yep you guessed it "wooosh". Okay lesson learned do not do that again. Hey at least I did not catch on fire. So here I am warm and enjoying a cigar and 3 minutes in flame goes out, so I turn knob again and it flames up (no lighter needed) guess residual flame maybe... needless to say this thing doesn't really work as 2 minutes later it went out again and did not relight and I was not sticking my hand in the center again with a lighter. Bed was comfortable, but I slept like crap as traffic on 55 was brutal and a lot of noise in my room. I woke up three time and finally at 6:00am went to breakfast and was underwhelmed by options... add to that as I am eating my oatmeal I hear this, "what can a help you with" and out of side of my eye and lady walking past me with a personal phone to her ear, saying "Hello can I help you" to someone at the front desk. Ma'am please get off your personal call and help your guests checking out. At the end... 3 stars and back to Hilton.
