I met my cousins walking in Memphis and what better place to stay than the King's hotel? Originally we had wanted to rent an Airbnb, but the weekend that we all planned on meeting had lack of occupancy for booking. After doing some Expedia and Internet research, we decided the best bet for adjoining rooms and a group would be the guest house at Graceland. The only criticism I have is pertaining to the road construction outside the property, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel whatsoever. It was just a minor complication that made me nervous. The roads in surrounding area reminded me of roads back in California damaged from earthquakes, I have no idea why the roads are in such disrepair. The lobby is beautiful and the grounds exquisite. The rooms are new, updated and comfortable with tons of Elvis television to enjoy. Our kids especially loved the pool area and we decided to come after dinner to not disrupt the adults enjoying their time in the loungers. I've actually never seen loungers in a pool before coming to the guest house at Graceland, but it seemed like a very fun and comfortable idea. There are two restaurants that I saw on property, including the breakfast place and the bar and Grill. Although we did not go to the bar and Grill, we did enjoy a wonderful breakfast buffet, and everybody found more than they were looking for. We especially were impressed with the guitar waffles, who would think that such a delicious waffle existed? The location of the guest house at Graceland appeared to be centrally located and we were able to enjoy seeing the pink limo arrive from Graceland frequently. The coffee shop appeared to have many options, including cake pops that everybody enjoyed and the gift shop was well stocked with all sorts of fun Elvis mementos. You knocked our blue suede shoes off guest house at Graceland and we want to say," thank you thank you very much."

Exceeded my expectations. Great place to stay right across from Graceland in Memphis. Beautiful building warmly decorated with mid century modern/ Hollywood regency styling. The grounds of the hotel are spacious, there are several restaurants, a bar, coffee bar , movie theater. Every night at 7 pm a musical guest performs. We saw John Paul Keith and he was amazing. Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and Graceland. Highly recommend A+++

This hotel is great stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Two restaurants and a coffee bar. All these are pay restaurants. No complementary breakfast. Many events daily for free. Elvis movie in the theater every night. Live Music in the foyer every night mostly Elvis tunes. Free peanut butter sandwiches in the evening. If children are around they go fast. First come first serve. Shuttle service to local airports, Graceland mansion. Outside services offered for extra fee to Beal street Memphis. Beautifully designed and decorated throughout. Outside pool. Grounds are well kept. The guesthouse association are very helpful and knowledgeable of the city. Great and safe place to stay while in Memphis. Outdoor parking available with valet service. Valet service to your room as well. Food is average , pricey, and limited menu. Vacation is not the time to worry about money. Remember tourists from all over the globe!

What a beautiful hotel. Visiting during a non busy time, we were upgraded to a suite. With a living room, bathroom, and bedroom, there was a ton of room. It's nice to have somewhere to sit that is not the bed. Multiple TVs too. The bed was comfy. Shower huge. Room dark for sleeping. Wish I was able to stay more than one night. Stations were set at Elvis music upon entering. Pick your decade for music taste. A movie played each night at 7pm in a large theater. Kind of fun to see these old movies on a large screen. We really liked the band that played in the lobby/bar. They were so talented and very knowledgeable about the music, writers, singers, and history of the songs they played. There is a shuttle to Graceland but we walked as it's right across the street. We checked out and they let us keep our card parked there while we did our tour. Staff was wonderful in making sure our stay was special. Great stop.

The Guest House at Graceland is a lovely and dog friendly hotel, priced remarkably reasonably for the 4 Diamond rated hotel that it is. We stayed the weekend before Thanksgiving and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I've heard the year round decor of the hotel called Elvis modern, and I'd agree. The room itself was comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing and featured two modern shower heads, and there were so many details at this hotel that make it special: from the restaurants and bars named for Elvis and family members (EP's Bar & Grill, Delta's Kitchen, Shake, Rattle, and Go) to the actual movie theater that screens Elvis movies nightly. There is a large gift shop with everything Elvis: from ball caps, to bedazzled hoodies, to flip flops, and EP knock-off sunglasses. Everyone that worked inside the hotel and the gift shop was so friendly, from the people who checked us in very late at night, to the woman who saw me looking around and offered to unlock the movie theater so I could see it. We were in a bit of a rush to get back on the road (and had the dog) so we had take out coffees and fruit/oatmeal from Shake, Rattle, & Go. It was fresh and efficient. While taking a photo of the stairway, I met a really friendly older couple who shared their Elvis stories. They both had seen Elvis 30 or more times and were part of the Graceland "Founders" group. The woman gave me Elvis buttons she had made as well as photos of herself as a young woman with Elvis. I imagine encountering Elvis Ambassadors like this couple is part of the charming experience visiting this hotel--where Elvis fans share their personal stories with each other generously. Unfortunately, we were traveling from Dallas to Maine with our dog and stopped at the hotel because it was dog friendly, so didn't have a chance to tour Graceland itself, but hope to return soon and stay a few days to enjoy all that it has to offer. The only small downside was the confusing parking situation, specifically getting out of the lot, which involved one of the room keys? I tried to get help from the person working in the security station at the gate and she was less than helpful. Otherwise, a solid 5 star experience.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a guest of the King??? What King you ask - well, Elvis!!!!! Once Upon a Time, I thought about it and decided to see exactly what that would be like...so I transported myself to the Guest House at Graceland (where you too can be a guest of Elvis). This - by far - wasn't cheap (from the beginning to the end - everything was available - for a fee) Pros: * the grounds are nice (fire pits and pool included) * complimentary nightly live music * complimentary shuttle access to Graceland mansion * complimentary nightly pb&j sandwiches * complimentary elvis movie in the theatre * full hotel staff (i.e. bell hop, valet concierge, shuttle drivers, etc.) * 24 hour gym access * fridge / keurig in the room (no microwave) Cons: * parking was $16 (valet) plus 3 added taxes - came to about $22 / day realistically. * breakfast was $25 plus taxes * theatre movie provided nightly but no popcorn provided * bottled water (in room) was $6 (I am positive taxes would have been added) * no indoor pool * rooms were subpar for the price per night * sketchy neighborhood * customer service needs work I am sure by now you are wondering - Would I do it again??? I wouldn't....the elevator walls and rooms were unkept and my shower door would NOT stay closed. Did I have an enjoyable experience - yessssss!!!!!! Would I recommend??? For the experience - yes! Guest House at Graceland - "thank you! Thank you very much!!!"

Beautiful lobby with gorgeous furniture for great pics. Of course stands of Elvis to take pics with! All the staff is warm and welcoming. The lobby also has a giant purple replica of Elvis purple bed- if you've ever been to Graceland, you recognize. They have lovely restaurants but we head out at 5am tomorrow so we won't be able to dine. We will for sure make the Elvis inspired Peanut Butter & Jelly event at 9pm !

This hotel was amazing!!! I booked it because we were on a roadtrip with limited time in some cities and planned on going to Graceland. If you love Elvis, this hotel is for you. They have thought everything with EP wall sconces, the artwork, names of restaurants. They show an Elvis movie every night at 7pm, followed by free pb&j sandwiches at 9pm. The pool area is beautiful and even has the chairs in the pool! A beautiful bathroom with a walking shower that has two shower heads, one rain shower and one regular. We ate at EP's. The nachos were massive! I got the Elvis Presley burger which is huge! The quesadilla is like a combo of quesadilla and tacos. The peach cobbler was very good and our waiter was helpful in answering questions. I recommend self parking, it's very easy. My mom said this was her favorite hotel she has ever stayed at. I wish we would have had more time here!

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. It was an excellent location for all the things we wanted to see and is only 9 minutes to the airport. The hotel is lovely. Very updated and rooms were comfy and clean with modern amenities like coffee, pillows, etc. As an Elvis-themed hotel - they lived up to my expectations. There is live Elvis music at the bar nightly, they have a free peanut butter jelly sandwich bar with chocolate milk every night at 9pm for snacks (loved this), there is a movie theater that shows a free Elvis movie every night from 7-9pm, etc. Staff were nice and all requests were handled quickly - like extra pillows, towels and blankets as well as an additional luggage rack for the room. Check-in was super easy and self parking is only $10. Our room was ready when we arrived at around 6pm and the beds were comfy! I liked that they have easy charging by the beds and plenty of options on TV to partake in Elvis live concert viewings (some I had never even seen) and some premium channels. The TVs and remote are updated so you can easily log into your apps and watch streaming as well. Showers were VERY nice. Rain head shower. A+ We had a small issue in one of the dining rooms while here and when my husband spoke to the manger, she was stellar. She sent us a bottle of wine and two free breakfast vouchers for the buffet. All the staff were excellent and it's directly across the street from Graceland so it can't be beat for location if that is what you came to see. Their conference area is very nice and we were super impressed with the large and comfy movie theater. It was cold so the pool was closed - but that looks nice as well. The gift shop is small but nice and you can buy your Graceland tickets here and take a free shuttle across the street that runs every 30 minutes.

How to you even begin? I have been wanting to make the trip to visit Graceland since I was 13, this has to be my most sentimental trip on my bucket list- I'll spare the details! The experience at the guesthouse in every aspect was amazing! Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the details are amazing, I cried walking in the first day! Our room was perfect, bathroom was ideal! Every staff member was wonderful, helpful and I couldn't have asked for more from the interactions I had! We visited the movie theater and watched a show, swam in the pool! (Only suggestion is a pool heater!) it was an absolute perfect day to swim, the water was just a bit too cold! And I was surprised there wasn't a hot tub). We had breakfast at the buffet, food and selection was wonderful? Great fresh assortments, options for everyone. I'll be back to finish my review but I cannot rave enough, if you are hesitant on staying on the property do not be it is worth it In every way, next trip will be during Christmas! I cannot wait and I wouldn't spend less than two days- to enjoy everything!

Standard fare - eggs (omelet or scrambled), sausage links or patties, potatoes, do it yourself waffles, oatmeal, breads, yogurt, coffee & tea & juice. Fruit was not ripe. Room- the *best shower water pressure* I've ever felt! A night light was in the bathroom, a considerate feature when the room lights are off. Above the center night stand, the electrical outlet on the left needed occasional jiggling to maintain a connection, I forgot to tell the front desk about this. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. A/C worked well. One con: inquired about late checkout as a Hilton Honors member and was told it was not possible. That's the first time I was ever told that.

It benefits from a great location being within steps of Beale Street, and both Grizzlies and Redbirds games! It's also quiet on the upper floors, and the breakfast is spectacular as always. Parking will set you back $26 every 24 hours and an additional hourly charge for staying past 1:00 p.m. the following day. So yeah, you pay for the location. It's not a great bargain for the price. But it's good enough if you want to stay in the heart of Memphis. The music from Beale Street is loud throughout the night, but the hotel is kind enough to provide earplugs in your room. That leaky toilet will keep you up all night, though! And the outlets are so stripped, you'll get an unpleasant surprise in the morning when you realize your devices haven't recharged!! That was the worst aspect of this hotel!!

The design is clean and considered warm tones, thoughtful finishes, the kind of contemporary aesthetic that feels curated rather than assembled. You don't walk into a lobby that's trying to impress you; you walk into one that welcomes you. There's a difference, and it matters. The rooms carry that same sensibility. Comfortable in the truest sense not merely adequate, but genuinely restful. The kind of bed you sink into and feel the day release from your shoulders. The kind of space that says you're taken A genuine hospitality that feels rooted in the city itself rather than scripted by a brand manual. Memphis has always been generous that way, and the Canopy reflects it. And then there's the catfish. I don't say this lightly: the catfish here is worth the trip on its own terms. Crisp where it should be crisp, tender where it should yield -- it carries that deep Southern confidence that reminds you food can be both humble and extraordinary at the same time. It's the kind of dish that makes you set down your fork for a moment, not because you're finished, but because you want to be present for it. For travelers who want Memphis without the chaos, who want proximity to the legend of Beale Street but a retreat that breathes, the Canopy is a quiet, well-kept secret. Boutique in the best sense. Modern without being cold. Memphis without apology.

I have the ability to choose my own room based on what I booked. I chose the corner room because typically they are larger, but come to find out that this particular room is much smaller than the standard kings elsewhere in the property, and the photos do not apply to the room type that I booked. I'm a Hilton diamond member, and anticipated an upgrade, which was not available, even though the hotel was not sold out. The restaurant and bar have an 18% auto gratuity that was not disclosed until I received my check. Have they not added the gratuity to it, I would've tipped my standard 20%. Probably the biggest issue I had was the lack of hot water. When I contacted the front desk, the agent informed me that I would need to run the shower for an average of 15 to 20 minutes for the hot water to start, which is ridiculous that they do not have a larger enough boiler to accommodate the entire hotel property. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and she told me that they were not available and that if I have further concerns, I need to take it up with the hotel general manager in the morning. No compensation was offered, and she said there's no point in moving rooms because the hot water situation will be the same regardless of the room chosen. While this property was in policy within my corporate travel guidelines, I will not be staying here again.

Everyone is grown and just looking to wind down. After that, they have a dj playing smooth R&B. I definitely look forward to going again. The price points are decent. The staff is nice, the spacing/seating is great, and the vibe is grown and sexy. They do have valet parking just in case.

Beale St, Rendezvous, The Peabody, the riverfront are all within walking distance. Some of the places within a block or two. Location really couldn't be better. We elected to take advantage of the valet service which i found to be very reasonably priced. The person who checked us in was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful, she offered some really good suggestions for things to do/see. The room was the biggest room I have ever had in a hotel in my life and I've stayed in a lot of hotels. I can assure you that I did not select the highest room class when I booked this either. The thing was literally a LOFT with the bed and bathroom above the kitchen/living room area. There were large windows that provided a view of the city and even the river! The shower was great as well. There was plenty of space for using your own soaps. The water pressure was also better than expected. The shower was easy to use and figure out the towels were big and soft. Everything was spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
