I came in to see Pat because I had lingering pain across the entire left side of my torso. Pat has systematically worked his way through several problem areas, but my issue is somewhat like whack-a-mole, every time we make progress on one area a new issue presents itself. That being said, I've gone from being in constant pain to as close to normal as I've felt since November 2019. We've worked through a rib issue, an intercostal chest issue, a neck issue, and recently Pat found that my left lat was also very tight. While I was making good progress, after Pat worked on my lat I felt nearly 100%. Not only is Pat a great PT, I love how personable he is. He's always texting me about my progress and making sure things are going well. Pat is very good at keeping the conversation going and making me feel comfortable. I will continue to see Pat and improve my mobility and general well being.

The clinic was huge and very easy to spot from the street, which made it easy to find my way to my appointment. Once inside, I was promptly greeted by reception staff, and my masseuse (Andrew) was warm, intuitive, and professional in his service. There was a slight hiccup between the scheduler and office that impacted the intake process, but they were gracious, and I received a discount since I paid cash for the session. She's also good about removing an exercise if it's not doing what's intended so I'm not wasting my time. She does dry needling which has been a game-changer for me. After completing eight post-surgery therapy sessions with Kintsugi, I asked at the time whether…read morethere was any balance on my account. I was told there wasn't. Nearly a year and a half later, I received a bill totaling close to $2,000--despite the sessions being basic stretching exercises. I contacted Kintsugi to understand the charges and the delayed billing. I was told the coding was done by the therapist and that the billing came from a third-party company--not Kintsugi. However, the bill had Kintsugi's name and contact number, which makes the attempt to shift responsibility feel dismissive and unprofessional. Not only were the charges excessive for simple stretching, but I also stopped attending because I could perform these exercises independently. What's most disappointing is that the billing was delayed until I was no longer working and on a very tight budget. This timing added unnecessary financial stress. During my call, the person I spoke with said he would inform the owner but couldn't offer any resolution. He later left me a voicemail saying he felt I was mad at him, which struck me as odd--I never made any personal remarks, nor did I direct any frustration toward him as an individual. The experience reflects poorly on Kintsugi's business practices and, ultimately, on the leadership that enables them.
