My wife & I enjoyed her class and her attention to detail, the class had a unique flow that the both of us enjoyed, Emily not only was in front of the class leading us through the moves but she also moved around and corrected the postures of the students. Also enjoyed going to the BeYoga Burien studio which has lots of character (meaning old) and was honored to be walking around the studio which was watered by the sweat and tears from yogis past! I also take Yoga classes at their newer studio BeYoga-Renton, super clean but like every yoga studio has a few minor things that are being worked on correcting. The instructors are top notch and staff is friendly. Ang is the manager for BeYoga Renton & Josh is the manager for BeYoga Burien, both are excellent instructors, friendly and will make sure that you have a good experience at both studios.....

The instructors are attentive and bring a level of heart and awareness for what is needed in the moment that I have struggled to find elsewhere. The exterior is deceiving in the heart of White City with an entrance from the alley, my first visit had me trepidatious upon arrival; however, from that first class to this day when I walk through the doors, I am instantly flooded by a sense of serenity that I struggled to find elsewhere. It is a 30 minute drive from my home, but every class is worth it. So many experiences I have at the Heart Center take me back to the beautiful yoga I experienced in India. I highly recommend this place. Everyone who has walked through the doors with me feels the same! It was very helpful to me in so many ways... the class helped me stretch those tense muscles that develop during pregnancy, strengthen / prepare me for child birth and in general helped my body and soul relax! She is also really good about making sure your body is positioned correctly while you're in different poses and positions. There are other wonderful instructors that teach at the studio as well. I didn't know the difference between good and bad yoga instructors until I attended a few yoga classes at LA Fitness. It's definitely worth going and paying for "real yoga" and quite frankly, it's not that expensive per class. It's so much fun and you feel great afterwards!

If you are coming for lap swim, be prepared to have to move lanes often because of the staffs lack of communication on what lanes are available when. There is no regard to folk who have regular memberships who come here to swim. The directors and lifeguards prioritize folks who pay for lessons and classes. If you're a regular ymca member just know that lessons and group classes in the lap pool are not communicated through the app or through thorough signage Been coming here for 8month and only continue to do so because I have a back injury and I have to swim daily for mobility.
