The chiropractor dealt with the pain/posture, but Performance Physical Therapy has helped me "target" the injury with stretching and strength exercises. I've been working with Dr. Holt and Dr. Nogueira, who have both done an excellent job. Dr. Nogueira did an intake and had me do some basic stretches to identify the "source" of the injury. I've been seeing Dr. Holt about twice a week, who has been supervising me, while I do exercises and stretches to ensure that I'm doing it correctly. They use an online portal to send you exercises to do at home. You can check off which ones you've done, take surveys and even earn points and badges. It's a lot of fun! They're social distancing regulations are really good. They tape off the waiting room, so you can't sit six feet from anyone else. They assess you for signs of COVID when you enter the office. When you enter the physical therapy area, they immediately ask you to wash your hands and record your temperature. Everyone is wearing masks/goggles and there is enough hand sanitizer going around to kill a baby elephant. In spite of this, I switched over to telehealth very easily, in order to be extra-safe. However, In my case he was unable to help me. After 40 some odd appointments in which I was out of visits from the other persons insurance. I stayed with this chiropractor until my insurance took place. This is due to the transportation given to go to your appointments. However, the chiropractor nor staff informed me that it is only to bad from my place of living after about 30 visits. So I'm going here there and everywhere. Then the accountant flipped out on me and the staff. Talk about Staff there was Ella, Desiree and another worker on which I cant recall. Again really friendly however, it pitched a nerve when their friends or family including kids came to visit Desiree and the staff member in which I cant recall her name. Like I'm not there to see the staff crews family to be running running around. Place of work not a place of the home life. I had an experience one day in which all the electro message beds were full. Another words the staff wasnt going there job. After my treatment and 5 minutes had pasted I used my phone and put the timer on after 10 minutes I got up myself. Was a wake up call for that staff member i can recall the name of. Another day behind the desk area it smelt like strong odor of weed. I brought this up with the chiropractor and he protected them. Ella was awesome and professional weather behind the desk and everywhere else. I STRONGLY recommend looking for another chiropractor. When I switched i only had to go 8 times and i was 100% better.

I have suffered from many digestive issues over the years, and I could always count on her natural healing methods rather than the pharmaceuticals trying to be pushed on me by physicians. She is also an outstanding chiropractor who has "straightened me out" on many occasions, alleviating chronic pain in my spine, hips and neck, usually with a single adjustment. I have literally limped, hunched over in pain into her office on many occasions, and walked out an hour later totally in line and erect. She is a kind person, generous with her time, with a genuine concern for her patient's well-being. I consider her both a healer and a friend.

I was so ill, so depressed and so done seeing doctors, when I walked into her office it was my last resort, I'd done everything else one is supposed to do and a friend recommended Dr. H since nothing else had worked. She was so warm, open and obviously cared deeply about helping me...such a difference from the dozens of doctors I'd seen who couldn't figure out what was going on and didn't seem to care to figure it out. Dr. Hilty quickly helped me make giant leaps from massive depression, extreme fatigue, overweight, no energy into a (relatively) normal, functioning, happy and healthy member of society. Her work is deep, thorough and completely focused on working with whatever her patient needs to achieve optimal health. Whether I felt a little out of sorts, or recovering from something gross, Dr. Hilty always welcomed the opportunity to help me. She's not only a wonderful Dr., she's a wonderful person. If you have even the slightest need of assistance, you will be so happy to find her. The only thing I'd change about her practice is that it's no longer in NYC and Providence isn't accessible with my MTA subway card.
