I had an initial issue with Lainey talking to me crazy/unprofessional but luckily the regional or district manager was there and extremely kind and resolved the issue. She mentioned financing options but didn't clearly explain the actual costs. Honestly, the price was shocking--more than rent in some cases--and she pressured me to pick a plan right then and there. When I said I'd think about it, her attitude changed noticeably. I also had a question about the intake form, specifically a vague section about medications for "disorders," but she dismissed it like I was imagining things--even though she was looking right at the form. Overall, Destany's lack of knowledge, poor communication, and high-pressure tactics completely turned me off. When I had my tummy tuck I lost a lot of blood and development a hematoma. When I went for my follow up visit after being at the hospital for two days he drained the excess of fluid and it goes worse and developed a high risk infection. After multiply visits to Dr. LaMonaco's office my wound wouldn't heal, he found GAUZE inside my incision! It's a shame that's such a high end hospital such Methodist Clear Lake would work with a such a doctor. He is not caring or professional and only cares about the money. Doctor provided no after care instructions for my procedure, and the nursing assistant sent a prescription to the wrong pharmacy than I had provided. Turning a 3 minute drive to pick up into a 20 minute drive. I canceled my follow up appointment and a receptionist called to schedule a follow up and proceeded to talk over me, hence the reason I would not suggest this office to a family member. They are unprofessional and don't take the care of every patient into consideration.
