What I had expected to be a traumatic experience turned out to be a very pleasant experience and I saved quite a bit of money compared to most of the other places I researched. She even reached out to me after the contracts were signed and done to make sure that all of my questions had been answered and all of my concerns addressed. I appreciated that very much. I also appreciated that she did not try to high pressure me into buying extra stuff that I did not want, like some of the other places did. While I can't comment on events following my death, I expect my family will be as pleased with Lovestrong as I am and will probably do a follow up review.

TDC took possession of the body about 4 hours after her death. Over the next week Victor was with us every step of the way. Because she died at home and we wanted cremation the Office of the Medical Examiner had to review the circumstances of her passing before issuing a permit for. Victor carefully explained the process and handled everything. We received her ashes 10 days after her death. The cost was very reasonable, exactly what they say on their website. Since Dignity took over the landscape in the area around the plots has been destroyed. Gravesite are vandalized and overall maintenance is poor. What they do well is remove your flowers prematurely. Went today to visit a grave only to find that law enforcement had closed the cemetery for a private burial so we were unable to visit our families graves. Stay away! I suggest you find property and service providers outside the Dignity network.

You definitely don't feel like you're dealing with a large, impersonal, company - instead you feel like the entire staff is concentrating on you and your family's needs. Unlike many other funeral homes, when you book Cypress Creek, your family has the entire facility, so you don't have to worry about potential customers walking in and out during your service. Additionally, on the day of your service they greet your guests at the door, guide them to refreshments, and generally assist you in everything you need to have the service run smoothly. The owner, Robert, makes himself available by phone whenever you need him. This was fantastic for us as we had lots of logistical issues due to a once-in-a-decade ice-storm hitting Houston. Many other businesses were closed that day but Cypress Creek, knowing how much we needed them were right there for us. I give them my highest recommendation.
