We rescheduled and the next day we received a call from Tiffany that the price increased over $1,000 making the total over $1500, not $500. We requested a call from the owner but never received one. You are willing to remake the door, THAT YOU DAMAGED, for a cost to me, of $226.00 (this is your cost stated in last email) and this is doing me a favor to earn future business. ** "I hope you can see where I've already taken a step towards only charging cost where I am typically encouraged to make profit on work that we complete." ** "I am putting a copy of this email on your file so that if you choose to continue to work with us, the $226 can be added as a discount on your next order. I hope you find this email informative and as it is intended, a gesture towards providing a solution on this concern and working together in the future" I was charged $2500.00 just for one bathroom, so it seems to me that you already made a pretty healthy profit margin and should be able to cover, the damage that you created at your cost, and still have a nice profit margin. Let's also factor in that that I did a total 4 bathrooms, all the same, at a total cost of 10,000.00. I did the right thing and gave you guys an opportunity to buff the scratch out, at your request, but since that has not been a permanent solution, I reached out again assuming you would now replace the door to remove the scratch permanently this time which should have been reordered for replacement the day it was installed, and the scratch was disclosed. What a bait and switch rip off. So, I thought about it and decided to add two more issues to diagnose. If I chose to do the repairs, the $65 would be applied to the repair. I was told there was a set fee to repair/replace an outlet - $175. That seemed high to me but I went ahead with the appointment. It turned out this isn't how they wanted to charge at all. The technician wanted $619 just to diagnose two items. That price would NOT include the repairs. When I balked he said he would replace the GFI even though he wasn't supposed to. Seriously!? Who has an electric repair company that isn't supposed to replace a GFI? This company is a bait and switch rip off. Stay away from them.

When I contacted the office to return the anchors I was told by the assistant that even though I was willing to pay their "restocking fee and a debit card transaction fee" (which according to bank regulation Z no surcharge can be applied to debit card transactions) the owner refused to refund me. After we had hung up the phone, the owner called me as an "Unknown Number" at 3:56pm 11/13/2018 insulting me telling me that he is going to ruin my life, persecute me and bring me down to the bare minimum. I told him I was going to file a complaint with the BBB because this was not a way to treat customers and he said he didn't care (while use profane language). I told him no where on the receipt did it state that regular orders were nonrefundable; the only stipulation was custom orders were nonrefundable and this was not a custom order as I walked in and picked up the parts that day. There was no asterisk or notation anywhere in front of the item indicating that what I had purchased was a custom order making it not qualified for a refund. I walked into the business to return the anchors, since the owner told me on the phone he would do it, and he continued the argument there calling me a stupid and ignorant millennial who would not understand his language due to the fact that I have a Spanish background. I was charged the debit card transition fee and a restocking fee which I was willing to pay even though there are no signs anywhere (on the receipt or in the business) saying that these fees will be charged. In addition he charged me a "short order fee" because I did not return one of the anchors because I used it. From a total of what was suppose to be an $80 refund, he charged me a 25% restocking fee, $25 short order fee, 2 credit card fees of $3.66 each, and he did not return me the sales tax for the items returned. I would not recommend this business to anyone since this is not the first time they had kept my money for a service they did not provide. I had paid for them once to come to re-anchor my car port, and waited 4 weeks calling them multiple times to try to schedule an appointment but they kept telling me they don't have a schedule available. So I cancelled and had to pay another company to come. The owner refused to refund me in full even though they did not provide me with the service I had paid for or was not even on their schedule for. I decided to give this merchant another chance as fair practice because I was only purchasing parts but I got an angry nasty owner telling me I was wasting his time and money. I don't understand why he was so mad about $80 when his company makes thousands of dollars daily. To the owner of Factory Direct, I hope you learn to treat your customers with respect, learn to calm down and not argue while other customers are present, as well as avoid profiling your customers as an easy way out.

Even though my orders were small ($400-$1000) compared to home builders that probably buy a lot more than an individual home owner i feel like I am an important customer to them; you call them and tell them what you need, they take CC over the phone and within 3 days max you get your stuff - this country needs more businesses like this one that seems to actually care about customer service !!!!

They speak English and Spanish they took about 5 hours for a two story house it cost about $1,200 for the deep cleaning they did. They went into every vent in the house and vacuumed it even the dryer vent. I've never been able to see into my vents till now lol. They also changed the vent filters, they said after this they can some every 6 months for maintenance which would just cost I think 300-600 depending on the work load. I do recommend tapping things over because your house will be filled with dust after.... Like a lot lol so be prepared to clean up after because obviously there's gonna be dust all over. I would recommend getting this done on a day you have nothing to do and in the morning so you have the rest of the day to clean! Over all we will be calling them for the maintenance we think it's a great price and they really were sooo kind and nice!
