The service was very good and the store had some really cute things that I have not seen before. They had a wide variety of loose tea blends to purchase. They also sold moon pies in several different flavors. The reason we were there was for the tea room experience with friends and family a party of 4. I was impressed with all the tea flavors they offered, but the food experience left me very underwhelmed. The quiche and scones were okay and I can say they were"tasty" but seemed precooked and reheated. The chicken salad and cucumber sandwiches seemed fresh made. The dessert offerings were not that great. All and all it was nice but heavily overpriced. read more

The reviews are all old, 7 years? The tea room has moved. Menu changed all I can say positive was the room we were in was fun. This is not a Tea Room, the food was not good. Most likely prepared day before, my quiche was hard & egg shell in second bite. In no way could this be called a Tea. They only served Black Tea. $54.00 for food we didn't eat. Server did not question why our plates were full of food she served. She never once came back to check if we were ok with what we had. We would not go back. read more

If it wasn't for yelp. I wouldn't have found this place. Out in Bell Buckle. It's a bit out of the way from Nashville but definitely a way to spend a ladies day out having afternoon teas. Talking about southern charm this place has it. The tea decorations, the southern accent of the service and The location. Tea cafe located inside a boutique gift shop. Mermaid tea theme was the cutest. Everyone just order a little bit of assortments. Finger foods. Food was mediocre but the experience was the best part. They only have a few selections of hot tea choices, fruit tea or mixed berry lemonade. No sodas. read more

A friend invited us to this charming, quaint place for tea. We had cheese pimiento sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches (with fresh sliced strawberries), turkey sandwiches, blueberry scones, jam, jelly, devonshire creme, macarons, lemon bars and sugar cookies. The ladies at Southern Charm have always been very friendly and helpful every time we have shopped in the store which is often since we live in Bell Buckle. I had my daughter's 15th Birthday Party there in the cozy tea room in the back of the store and the girls she invited still talk about how delicious the food was and ask her to please have it there again and invite them. My daughter has always loved different types of tea and tea parties so it's perfect for her. We ordered different kinds of teas to go with our food and it was ALL delicious. read more

So, yeah, the shop is cute. Cute, southern, shabby chic stuff everywhere. BUT - did you know that they also have a TEA ROOM? Seriously. The back of the shop is a tea room covered in floral patterns and cutesy stuff! We sat down for a pot of complimentary tea (English breakfast for us, but they have other options) and browsed their menu. I decided to get the afternoon tea sampler - tea sandwiches, scone, desserts. DELICIOUS. And so cute. So it was a completely charming way to spend an hour in Bell Buckle! Went there for the tea and the moon pie festival. Cute place! Friendly staff everywhere I turn and very tasty food. The fruit tea was delicious and also the chicken velvet soup. Everything was so relaxing and I enjoyed every moment there. They also have a store that it's attached to with some tasty Jams and dressings. As you browse there you can pick up an outfit and some gifts. The drive there from the interstate is about 10-15 minutes away with beautiful views of the country side. I will be going back pretty soon. Update: Once again we made a trip to the tea room. I wasn't able to check in due to no signal so that kinda sucks. But overall I had a great 2nd experience. Our waitress remembered us from out last visit plus our precious meals we ordered. Super sweet and great service. I plan on many more trips here. Great shop! You'll be drawn to it for so many reason. The picnic area out front is totally charming. Or perhaps it was the sale rack that had you at hello. It could have been the new tea room they recently added which is just perfect for a spot of tea. Or maybe it's the name brand handbags or sweet-smelling candles or pretty accessories. This long building has a very smart configuration for a seamless flow. So seamless in fact that next thing you know you are purchasing your next souvenir to remember your time in Bell Buckle. You cannot go wrong here. All the items are great quality. Jenny was great to work with and so friendly. I can't quite put my finger on it but her friendliness and customer services was a little something extra that I didn't experience at the other shops. Savvy woman. Savvy business owner. You go girl! I think it's smart that she keeps her store open until 7pm while all the other shops close at 5pm. I would definitely book a room here for my ladies party. read more

I booked Mother's Day tea a month ago and requested a gluten free menu. Upon arrival, the waitress paid very little attention to our table and the reservation note about a gluten free menu. Additionally, we ended up eating our entire meals without any beverages. I finally had the opportunity to order hot tea and got up briefly. When I returned, the table had been cleared. My mom said the waitress took everything, although she told her multiple times that we weren't finished and just got our hot tea. She wouldn't even allow my mom to order dessert. When I sat down, the waitress came to the table and said she was resetting the table. As we exited, (an hour after arrival and an hour plus drive) Charlotte told the guests waiting, 'the table is finally ready, and they are finally gone.' There were several open tables. The establishment lacks Southern hospitality and customer service. read more

I absolutely love this place. It is like a cornucopia of style, taste, and love. I was so welcomed here. I stepped in and it was such warm and cozy place. The owner down to the employees wore the biggest genuine smiles. So when you enter Southern Charm, there are gift, novelty items, and clothes. They also have jewelry and free coffee with your choice of a house mug or to go cup. As you walk to the back, they have sweets. There is kinda like a small staffed bakery. I met the baker, she was very cordial. The cakes are made on location. If they have them set out ask some one if they have any in the fridge. The cafe has other things like salads and sandwiches and other food items. I was able to taste the lemon cake. The lemon cake was right on, it was very lemony with a vanilla buttercream frosting. The second cake I got to try was a chocolate cake. Chocolate cake was moist, frosting just right. The third cake I tried was the pumpkin cake which was pumpkin cake and cream cheese frosting. That by far was the best cake. I took pics. I really liked here, and l really enjoyed their cake and I came twice in a row. read more
