My husband uses a wheelchair, and the owner was incredibly accommodating, even offering to open the store an hour early the next morning so we could shop before it became crowded and more difficult for him to navigate. That level of compassion and customer service is rare and meant so much to our family. If you're visiting Topsail, Bumblebee Market is definitely worth a stop. I stopped by for an inexpensive cooler to carry some seafood home. They had the perfect cooler for only $5. The clerk was helpful and friendly. I looked at the surf supplies and another clerk immediately asked if I needed assistance. The fishing gear is unbelievable. And kayaks, they carry everything. I could have spent all day in there. They rent surf boards, paddle boards, bikes and sell fishing licenses and can even set up fishing charters. They are locally owned. They offer free parking. I am a novice and was asking some questions about what would work and what is running and what type of equipment would I need to begin a new hobby, on the bays, shore fishing and maybe someday kayak fishing.
