I ordered the pulled pork quesadillas with mac n cheese with banana pudding for dessert. All the good was very good. The stand outs were the quesadillas and the cowboy baked beans. Least favorite was the Mac n cheese; it was a bit gritty. (-1) Recommend you give them a try.

This barbecue place is a favorite of just about every local, but for some reason out-of-towners don't get it! They use a time-tested recipe on every single item on the menu, and the criticisms I've read just aren't valid. Maybe it's different from Texas barbecue, but it's hands down the best this area has to offer. I don't eat barbecue anywhere else, because Southern Heritage has EVERYTHING, and it's all top notch. Read the reviews--not one negative review from Dublin, GA, where this outstanding business has been in business for thirty years. Nowhere else are cars wrapped around the building waiting (short wait, too) for takeout. Nowhere else has the small eating area packed most of the time. And it isn't accidental, it's because the food is absolutely outstanding! Don't pay any attention to those naysayers who probably would criticize Jesus Christ if he were doing perfect barbecue. Go try it for yourself--it's the best you'll find in the South. read more
