Next day, I seasoned the steak and cooked it for a few minutes in my air fryer. Warmed up my potato and enjoyed both. A gift card was why we went. I had the long pour margarita, which I think has gotten bigger over the years. It was basically two or more margaritas. Taste was basic, but that's okay. It was like 12.99, so the price is great. This was my second attempt at eating here. The first time it was busy, about 7:30pm, was told it would be a 20-30 min wait. She said I could sit at the bar without a wait. After 18 mins of not seeing a soul behind the bar, I went back to the hostess and was told it was a 30 min wait. I left. Decided to try again when not busy, around 5:30pm. Was told they were out of baked potatoes after ordering a medium rare ribeye with loaded potato. Steak came but was solid dark cool red center. She offered to take it back. She returned it but it was now closer to medium. I decide to cut my losses. The steak was way over-seasoned and had a tenderized texture to it. Loaded mashed potatoes were way too salty. The Brussels sprouts were perfect! I've eaten at Longhorn twice before in Texas. Once was uneventful and even above average the second time was bad food and bad service. *Experience during Covid* Was passing through during a recent roadtrip and between here or Cracker Barrel which is right next door, LongHorn seemed the more promising option. Staff are all wearing masks and they have spaced tables out significantly so you do not have to eat in close proximity to other diners, which is a plus right now. They are also serving a limited version of their menu, however, despite this there are still plenty of options to choose from. I ordered the 9 oz. Parmesan Crusted Chicken with fries and steakhouse mac & cheese as my side items. Everything was very tasty although the chicken was waaaaaay saltier than I typically like my food and I HATE when places put small minced green onions and/or scallions in the mac and cheese as Longhorn apparently does with theirs. That's just a personal thing, so if you don't mind that I'm sure you'll find this side item tasty. The service on the other hand was not up to par this night. I was not really sure who our server was because we had a rotation of three different people who were taking orders, bringing food, checking in, etc. YOu would think this would be helpful but it isn't when the three don't communicate with one another. It resulted in us having long waits for drink refills and requests for condiments (i.e. ketchup and steak sauce) after our meals were dropped off. We would ask one worker for something, they would vanish and 10 minutes later someone else would bring it out. Or we would ask for something never to receive it and have to ask someone else. I've eaten here twice now and enjoyed the food both times! Service has always been good as well. I would recommend that if you order a salad, ask that the dressing come on the side instead of pre-dressed, as the kitchen is pretty heavy-handed with dressing. However, I will add that asking for items on the side (or other modifications) doesn't always work here. Last time I ordered a loaded baked potato and asked for the sour cream and butter on the side. I received the potato with sour cream and butter already inside it, and an extra helping of sour cream on the side (no butter on the side). Another time I was avoiding gluten and ordered the burger with no bun. I received the burger patty with cheese, but none of the toppings or sauces it's suppose to come with. Thankfully our server was able to rectify it quickly. So just be mindful of any special requests, as they don't always work out here ;) But the food itself is delicious and quick. But this place also has great sandwiches (that I miss)!!! Especially the prime rib sandwich with the drip... Delicious! The appetizers are the best... The place is a carb lovers dream!!! They are always changing out the desserts... I can't have sweet either, but about 2 years ago I tried the carrot cake & it was delightful!!! If you are in for lunch sit at the bar... I chose carefully...starting with the "crunchy jalapeno shooters" and a cup (bowl) of their signature "tomato basil soup"...these we're devine...the shooters are a lightly breaded jalapeno pepper filled with three or four cheeses and a nice dipping sauce. These were fantastic. The tomato basil soup was equally as tasty. For my entree, I chose the 8oz prime rib (medium) along with two sides...creamed spinach and a caesar salad. The meat came out perfect, and the creamed spinach was nothing short of remarkable!!! After finishing off a wonderful dinner...I think there is a rule prohibiting you from leaving without dessert or a coffee...something. I got weak and ordered up the banana cream pie. OMG. This is not a typical diner or cafe, and the prices reflect that...but be it told, this was most certainly the best meal I have enjoyed in quite some time. The staff here is super friendly and observant. I never had an empty glass to drink, and they brought the bread out super quick and was piping hot. I started with the Firecracker Chicken Rollups and ended with a Prime Rib Burger. Both were prepared to my liking. The Prime Rib Burger had a horseradish sauce that really brought out a great zing. My favorite item is always the Firecracker Chicken Rollups, they are my favorite appetizer or main meal, oh and the Wild West Shrimp. With either of these, you can't go wrong. My favorite entree is the Outlaw Ribeye or a Flo's Filet. If you save room for dessert, try the Chocolate Stampede. They tend to cook on the lesser side to my liking, so i tend to always go up (I order Medium and comes out more Medium Rare). Overall, Great service! We ate at the Longhorn in Dublin, and our server was Austin. He was very helpful with the menu-suggesting good appetizers. When we ordered our steaks, he was particular about getting our steak cooked just the way we wanted it. We have eaten at many Longhorns all over Georgia, and this was the first time we were asked if we liked tomatoes and cucumbers in our salad or not. When we got our food, Austin checked to see if we wanted any condiments. He was prompt with water refills. If you go to Longhorn in Dublin, I hope you are lucky enough to get Austin as your server. We stopped here on our way back from Savannah. Its about an hour away from Savannah and there are a few gas stations and other restaurants in the area. The service was slow, but no so slow that it was an irritant. Just when you are taking the 3 hour road trip from Savannah to Atlanta and you stop to get a bite to eat, you'd rather it not take 30 minutes for your food to come to the table. Generally they have some specials, but I always go with the burger, since I really think Longhorns has the best burgers of all the steak restaurants I've visited. read more

Because Cracker Barrel seems to be experiencing some problems - I've taken to calling in order at this Longhorn Steakhouse when I'm traveling down I-16. The food is consistent with the Longhorn's in metro-Atlanta and the staff is very accommodating - going so far as to provide me with a little doggy bowl for water (without any prompting) because they saw me outside with my little Pomeranian before I came in. Full disclosure - I don't eat the steaks at Longhorn's any more. Instead - I always get chicken tenders at Longhorns (sue me!) and they are delicious. I also get fries and side-salad. It's not gourmet - but it's reliable and I appreciate the consistency! Definitely A-OK in my book. read more

Incredible turn around! I went to Longhorn to celebrate getting a very good job i've wanted for 15 years. The last time I was at this Longhorn was four years ago and it was terrible. This location was totally incredible! These folks have completely redeemed themselves! The food, awesome, steaks! Perferct! The service was warm, inviting courteous and prompt. A special shout out to Jennifer out server she is a shining example on how to be a good server. My only request is work on presentation of the food and do some different sides. Try offing risotto, Wasabi mashed potatoes (I had it at Morton's and loved it). These guys are a well oiled machine and I expect they are going to surprise me again. We have a very enjoyable experience at this LongHorn Steakhouse this past weekend. After having a crappy breakfast that morning where a waitress spilled coffee in my eggs and didn't offer to replace them, then being on the road all morning we decided to stop in Dublin for lunch. First we went to Buffalo's, but they were closed for the 4th; after using the Yelp app on my phone we found the LongHorn Steakhouse right up the road from where we were and decided to grab a bite there. We were seated right away after entering the restaurant. Being in a foul mood from my breakfast experience and driving I just wanted something quick so I could get back on the road. As I was looking down at my menu I hear the sweetest southern accent greeting me and welcoming me to LongHorn from our waitress Meagan. She was so happy and polite that it actually cheered me up. She told us all about the specials that they had that day and made some good recommendations. For lunch we ordered the shaved prime rib sandwich and blue cheese burger. The burger was really good, but the prime rib sandwich was the bomb. After we finished up lunch Meagan brought our check and was so sweet that we just had to leave her a great tip. All in all, if back in Dublin, I'll have to stop by this LongHorn again. read more
