We were told the retaining wall in our would be fixed due to a previous flood that before we were moving in and it wasn't properly fixed because we now have flooding in our basement . In a perfect world a PMC should be about doing the right things for the right reasons. I recommend hiring property managers that are ethical and truthful. Yes "men and women" are not good for an HOA! HOA's need a PMC to be the voice of reason, balance the budget, speak to board members from experience and inform them when spending is out of control and dues might double. Provide feedback regarding legal and what if scenarios so that Boards can make logical and informed decisions. The reason I dinged them 2 stars- A ticket was put in, MPC took 12 months to repair the issue, but with the understanding that the previous property management company did nothing at all.The other ding MPC get's -Allowing a dictatorship with out of control spending that caused huge due increases over 2 yrs. instead of being honest with the board they sat there and allowed it.
