They even create beautiful gift baskets for any possible special occasion. This is the type of spot I could spend hours in with a smile on my face, although they do have a user-friendly website that allows you to shop and order online with the option of both shipping or store pickup, too. While I could have purchased the entire store and died happy, I opted for chocolate this time around. After watching chocolate being made next door (glass windows inside the store that look into the "chocolate factory" area), I knew I needed to try the dark chocolate STAT! The workers behind the counter were so darn sweet (pun intended) and helpful. They offered samples galore and recommendations when asked. I ended up ordering dark chocolate caramels, nonpareil dots, peanut butter melts, and turtles. Everything was incredible, but my husband and I have been dreaming about the dark chocolate caramels (the round, gooey version...we didn't try the chewy caramels yet). I grew up obsessed with Sno-Caps candy, and their Dark Chocolate Dots are heavenly. The chocolate is just such good quality, better than any other chocolate shop I've tried thus far. Can't wait to go back for both sweet and gifts for loved ones.

And I love to support locals and artists, but, this place just didn't bring the 'umph' I guess. Kudos to the really catchy staging near the front entrance and good job balancing an eclectic mix of wares. Despite being stocked with catchy items, I simply didn't fall for anything in this shop and this leaves me unmotivated to recommend or to return. Sticker shock is also to blame for my walk-out. Just can't throw down $50-60 for baby shoes. The Village is more like a gallery. I suggest stopping in with 'that certain something' in mind or when you're searching for unique gifts.

No one explained the new plus sizing to him, 0, 1, 2 etc. So this robe is HUGE. After Christmas I went in to exchange sizes and was told no. They still had robes of this type on the sales floor. But not my size, which would have required them to order another. I understand that that would have been a pain. I understand it would have minimized the profit. But I now own a robe that must be altered. My husband was so proud of his purchase and so disappointed it did not fit, that I will have it altered. In addition, the clerk said she would see what she could do and would ask the manager/owner to call me, but instead she had to call me back to give me the bad news. The news that the shop was not willing to do anything. Again I will say, pretty things but I will not be back, neither will any of my friends. Buyer Beware.

(You know, they all grow up so quick!) Everything is carefully placed on hangers. And they even have a section for jewelry, or purses or active wear. They layout is easy to walk around in and the dressing rooms have plenty of hooks. Thank goodness. This place is already filled to the brim with merchandise. Fingers crossed it doesn't fill up too quickly like the Alcoa spot (I'd have to give them 1 start for Aloca by the way. You can't even walk around in there). When I stopped in recently nothing much caught my eye. I just felt like everything looked like the same trendiness I see elsewhere. No unique finds. Verdict: But if trendy's the game then this is your headquarters.
