They kept…read moreher in bed all day everyday, dirty fingernails, she was dehydrated and she was allergic to nylon and poly they had her covered either a dirty poly blanket I brought a good one they stole that along with her clothes and jewelry her dentures her hearing aides. She was drugged up and so sad and sick from these places! They would not let me clean her she smelled and sweated non stop they never did rehab/ exercise... never took her outside for fresh air and sun they served her disgusting puréed foods like mush fish and mush veg and mush everything. They ripped the cup and straw out of her mouth as I was trying to give her water. They threw away all the nutritional food that she loved and I brought to her I would feed her and she was glad. Then the. Took that away. The TV was off most of the time in that dismal dark room they had her in with the vents and ducts loaded with debris and I'm sure mold and mildew. If it did work once in awhile they never put in the channels and shows she loved she would stare out a dirty window I know with utter disbelief. They would leave a tray at her bed never even opening the tops that were on each item so the tray would not get touched!!! They had me banned when I got them on video real time when I walked on she was gurgling head hanging off bed I screamed for them to help her they just worried about getting me out so they called cops after I called the ambulance my mom was dying !!! The ambulance came and Stafford Police and Manahawkin told them to go away and then I got trespassed, yet again by another one of these bullshit caring facilities that I feel most of the employees are not licensed aides or med assistants Byron was one of the aides that would not even clean her nails if all the feces. I have pics and video available upon request. Trust me it's hard to watch these clips! If it became a law that all nursing homes have cameras for every room and all goings on I'm sure our loved ones would excel and flourish rather than decline and die. Her personal items would not have been stolen they would not fall out of the beds onto hard concrete the employees would actually have to get off their phones and be accountable for each and every loved one we entrust them with! My mom died in September after only 6 months after Adult Protective Services ( whom btw are not allowed to go the facilities and check on our loved ones for neglect ). But they will go to the private residence and CHARGE THE DAUGHTER who was caregiver and my mom's best friend and I would do it a thousand times over! But at the urging of Shorrock Gardens so they would not get in trouble for what they did to her and the lies by my sisters Shorrock who neglected her and her wounds and her UTI got worse she fell out of the bed twice they wanted to cover up their neglect and make me the fall guy for all the wrong and disgusting things that go one in these places ! I got charged while they just continued to hurt people and steal their dignity, they create family discord, they isolate our loved ones and keep them in a state of next to death! How dare this be allowed in this country in this day and age! PLEASE MAKE THIS POST GET TO EVERYONE YOU LOVE LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THERE IS A WORLD OF DARKNESS THAT WE ALLOW OUR LOVED INES TO ENTER UNDER THE GUISE OF " rehab". This…read moreis supposed to be a rehabilitation center and they had no bed pans for immobile patients thus forcing a non-incontinent patient into wearing a diaper and then took hours to clean them. Rang for a nurse and it took over 40 minutes for one to respond. The only reason one finally responded was because I went walking through the building looking for someone in charge. Absolutely disgraceful. The nurse I finally got said "well I was on break". There are long term residents that seem happy but others that are obviously miserable. Most look like they haven't had a decent haircut or clothes washed properly in ages. Although clean in appearance it is in need of serious remodeling and updating. It is sad that people who can't afford an alternative have to suffer here. I Staff were loud and there was loud music playing in the hallways at night making it impossible to rest. Medication ordered to be given wasn't in stock and not there still by the time I got her out.

It's a huge building with lots of senior services including an adult daycare, Home Health Aides, very reasonably cost senior transportation, and a host of other programs that they offer to low income senior citizens in Camden and Burlington county. I'm very fortunate my mother lives in their catchment area as she needs the medical transportation. We've just begun this relationship with this organization and I've been impressed with how they manage to provide services even though they are operating on such a low-budget. I was happy to make a donation to them as I could see it goes directly into helping seniors like my mother. The staff there is so pleasant to work with and are dedicated and do such a good job. I will say however that because of the low budget and staffing and the reduced number of hours with the medical transport you have to make the calls in on time in the morning to schedule and it's required two weeks in advance for scheduling medical appointments and you have to call the day before to confirm every appointment. With more money I'm sure they can become more and more automated in this process or at least have more vans and more staff available. My mother said that so far the drivers were very nice and they were on time and that they drive good too. And that is high praise from my mother.

They were all wonderful and caring and accommodating people. But with my uncle, Angelic Health was the absolute worst care anyone who is dying will want to encounter. And the disrespect for the family wishes were absolutely unbelievable. There is definitely Medicare fraud going on here. Their report and my uncle's medical records did not match the Medicare bills and they employ nurses who take over for God and tried to kill my uncle. They were nasty and condescending to the family. And the people at the top have no idea what they are doing or what is going on. Please stay clear of this hospice!! There are definitely better ones in the area.
