It could very well be the BEST in this country. There is a full time Internist, full time Nurse practitioner and Psychological therapist on site in the clinic. The podiatrist, hearing aide specialist and dentist come regularly to the clinic also. The residents can make appts like a typical doctors office.There is also a staff Physical Therapist. There are the usual amenities: gyms, library, art, heated indoor swimming pool, exercise classes all day M-F, as well as multiple clubs, meetings, dance classes, drama classes, lectures, and movies, and entertainment throughout the day. There are trips to Philadelphia to see the theater and other trips for a variety of local and Philadelphia attractions. Live Music of all kinds comes in for evening entertainment. There are ongoing resident committees where continual suggestions are discussed and positive changes made. There is a chapel on site with a full time Chaplain The dining room is lovely with delicious and wide variety of foods and often family comes to eat with the residents. It is a restaurant experience. Many of the foods are prepared from scratch on site. There is also a cafe as well for meals The entire staff is caring and attentive. The cleanliness is immaculate.

I would like if the rehab floor was more involved with the rest of the building activities but there is a level of socialization that isn't being trapped in your room 24/7 unless you choose to be.A bit of renovation and putting a sound proof divider between the sides of the shared rehab rooms would be an improvement. The facility feels a bit dated but it is kept clean. When it comes right down to it, I've had a loved ones in places that looked much better, but were much worse when I came to Care and that is the most important factor with a loved one Rehab.

I am disappointed. Before you sign on, consider what I have experienced. I will make the best of what is. Hopefully, this may help create change. However, the care is subpar in some aspects. Poor "J" hasn't had a phone in days and my friend is getting the run around in regards to it. . . Not acceptable!!! My husband and I moved my mom (Mercedes) into Brandywine in August of 2019 and everyone at Brandywine made mom feel so at home. She was very happy living at Brandywine and she built a lot of great relationships. But more importantly, several months after mom's move into the she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Mom was placed in their hospice program which was exceptional. The nurses, aides and management were so attentive and cared for her in such a loving way. We were told for two days that my Father had a bed for sub-acute rehab. We were even given a room number. The holdup to transferring him was supposedly insurance authorization. I spoke with the insurance company at least six times and they assured me that they had not received an authorization request from Wiley nor had Wiley contacted his current facility. At the end of the second day we were told by admissions that they will not have a bed for my Father and they could not tell us why. The head of admissions told us that they were just 'the messenger'. I've yet to hear an explanation or an apology for keeping us hanging for 2 days when we could have been working to have my Father placed elsewhere or moved to a private room at his current facility, which are now all filled.

She was recently transported to the hospital, a nurse from Wiley's took the time to call me and advised me she was admitted. Even tho I had just gotten off the phone with my mom this meant a great deal to me. My husband has COVID so I was unable to be with my mom. I am beyond impressed with Wiley's and how they treat their residents and their family members. Thank you Wileys.

She had the same name and the other nurse kept saying don't walk over the threshold or you're gonna die and they start laughing. I don't think that's funny. I think their staff is very unprofessional. They didn't have everything all together either as I was there! Very unprofessional! They also don't have enough staff.
