We had a really disappointing experience trying to establish care with this pediatric clinic. As new patients, we had to reschedule our initial appointment twice -- once due to illness (which feels completely reasonable for a pediatric office) and again due to a scheduling conflict. When I called to reschedule, I was told they would no longer accept us as patients. For a clinic that serves children, the lack of understanding and flexibility was honestly shocking. Things come up, especially with young kids, and we expected a bit more compassion and professionalism. This experience left a very negative first impression. Would NOT recommend this facility! Yikes. We started coming here in 2024. The front desk is professional, informative, and truly care about getting you to your appointment on time. They provide toys in the waiting room and even in the appointment rooms. They are kind. Dr. Ng is absolutely wonderful. She takes her time and is thorough but never leaves you waiting for her. She always brings a book for our child to take home. It has been my experience at other facilities that even if the front desk gets you in your room on time, you are left waiting on the Doctor. This is not the with Dr. Ng. She respects your time and never keeps us waiting while still giving our children the attention they deserve. She takes notes and is clearly up to date and remembers specific details about your family household. I would recommend this facility for your children! Usually, I don't write bad reviews. However, Southern Oregon Pediatrics is the worst clinic in my opinion. Last week My son's pediatrician retired, and he don't give us any other options. We are looking for pediatrician and we contacted Southern Oregon Pediatrics, they promised to take my son as new patient during the first phone call. The front desk told me that they will call me back to schedule appointment. We waited one days and called them back early in the morning, they told us that Dr. Mike Mills agreed to take our son as a new patient and they will call us back in the afternoon to confirm it. My son who is 4 months old baby and he was missing his 4-month well child visit. The front desk didn't call us back and we decided to stop by the clinic late afternoon. In the office, they told us that Dr. Mills will for sure to take our son as new patient and they will call us back to schedule an appointment. We left clinic with happy news. However, after 15 min they called me and said that Dr. Mills will not take our son and nobody in this clinic will take our son and hang up. Next morning, my husband asked the front desk why they one day take our son, and another day reject our son. Front desk manager explained that Dr. Mill is the owner of the clinic, and he will not welcome our son because we contacted clinic twice a day. No other doctor from Southern Oregon Pediatrics welcome us either. I am very upset, contacting clinic twice a day is a CRIME? I have never heard about this. We always speak with them politely and professionally. My husband tried to explain front desk manager that we need pediatrician for our son who is 4 months old and he was born preterm. He needs his vaccines and doctor's care. Front desk manager answered that it's not our problem and owner of the clinic doesn't want to see us. Dr. Mills rejected our 4 months old baby from his clinic and left him without medical treatment because his parents contacted his clinic twice a day. I am writing this review for other parents, never contact this clinic more than one time a day. We are wasting a few days and get rejected from this clinic. read more

Dr. Clarke is honestly a celebrity in our household during this season of life. She is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional - I could go on and on. She cares about not only the kids, but that the parents feel good too. She listens to us and we never feel rushed. She speaks to us with compassion and understanding. I can't recommend her enough. Dr Clark seemed to be genuinely apologetic about the miscommunication by both herself and her staff for the reorganization, non credible information, and missed appointments that we had for our 5 month old. That was where the professionalism existed, and only there, from this office. We have had 2 of 3 appointments be misrepresented in the nature or availability of the visit and subsequent incompleteness of those appointments. Not a good percentage. This is after having multiple phone calls with front office/ admin staff that obviously tried to step outside the box when offering services that weren't provided (infant hearing tests) not to mention lack of knowledge involving Covid protocol and scheduled appointments. It's chaos. This doesn't instill trust from my family in their record keeping or organization which could be dangerous, honestly. Bottom line: Dr. Clark could be the most skilled/ trained/ personable pediatrician available and I won't be able to return because of the complete mismanagement of this clinic's patient time, credible information provided, and trust. Whether we care to admit it or not, healthcare of children is a business and this one is poorly ran. I'm sorry we have to look elsewhere. read more

Can't believe people are leaving bad reviews for doctors doing their job and attempting to keep your kids healthy, protecting them from unnecessary diseases. If you don't believe in them for whatever reason, fine, but it seems ludicrous to condemn a doctor for backing science based health practices. Everyone has always been super helpful, understanding and caring. We primarily see Dr. Mills and he's excellent. Always takes time to listen to any concerns, is patient with our protesting toddler and quick to finish the physical part of the exam to reduce her stress. In all, unless you're completely against the protection of vaccines (you'll be better finding some sort of homeopath in Ashland) this office and every doctor we've interacted with is phenomenal. read more

My daughter, age 9, has been seeing Dr. Sibley for 7 years and we love her! She is one of those rare doctors who takes the time to really be present, connect with the child, and make sure all your questions are answered. I couldn't recommend her more highly. read more

Doctors at S. Oregon Pediatrics have cared for our little ones, mostly well baby check ups since our oldest was 6 months. They have seen Dr. Newman, Dr. Conway, & Dr. Sibley did our newborn's check up at the hospital. All three doctors have been great - good listeners, reassuring when we questioned things going on with our kids, and professional. The office has fit us in for various last minute check ups/follow up appointments, and has been a pleasure to work with. They have some toys & a fish tank in the waiting area and each of the exam rooms has a different theme (a snow scene, Scooby Doo, butterflies, an "I Spy" room where the kids search for objects hidden in the mural.) When friends ask about pediatricians in the area, I highly recommend Southern Oregon Pediatrics. read more

I absolutely love this place, with three active boys I come here quite often. I do try and schedule with Matt and Mary Hough if available as they are great but I must say if they are not available I will see what ever physician is available and I have have never been disappointed, all the Doctors are great! The Doctors and staff are so kind and helpful here, they truly make you feel welcome. Tonight I went in as my oldest son has a bad infection (what appears to be staph infection) on his foot and Mary Hough was amazing and all of the staff, they really went out of there way to help us in every way possible. This place is great and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get quality care for there children. read more

After both my children had been visiting 16yrs consecutively, we were dismissed without warning. This office didn't give one referral we needed. It was pulling teeth to get a chiropractor for my daughters scoliosis. My sons feet have been bothering him him for yrs and they kept saying it was growing pains. The Er had to tell us it was Plantar Fasciitis. My daughter has had Extreme psoriasis eczema on most of her skin and they just kept giving her topical steroids ointment. Now that we are at La Clinica, we are well taken care of. We had received referrals that same day for a dermatologist and updated her referral for chiropractor work. The doctors aren't valuing their patients needs at southern Oregon pediatrics. I advise not spending as much time as I did at their office and find one who actually cares. Good riddance. read more

Eventually we went back to southern Oregon Pediatric because they have the best customer service I've found. Dr.Mills is fantastic and never makes you feel rushed or silly for asking questions. Having just moved to Southern Oregon, we took our 4-month old in for a well-baby check and had a great experience. The staff was all very personable and we loved Dr. Newman. He is very easy to talk to and took the time to get to know our situation, very knowledgeable, and thorough in his examination and in discussing items with us. I cannot even begin to express how amazing the staff is in this office. I and my siblings were patients of Dr. Conway's when we were children and now my own child is his patient as well. From the time that I was small I have always been treated kindly and the doctors and nurses have always strived to ensure every option is available as well as that I had all the knowledge I needed in order to make health decisions for myself and now my child too. The staff never shy's away if we need help, going so far as to get juice for my daughter and even come to play and visit with her if there is time. You can tell it's a really family orientated practice and that the staff really cares about every patient that walks through the door which you see so rarely these days. read more

Been bringing my kids here for 6 years. They are now 15 and 17. The office is great about same day appointments for emergencies and aren't too far booked out for check ups. Very accomodating office hours. They primarily see Dr Mills but we've seen others for last minute appts and all the docs have been great. They are very attentive and also non-judgemental when dealing with some touchy situations. I also appreciate that the wait times are minimal. We are almost always seen within 5-10 minutes of the appointment time and don't spend forever waiting in the rooms either. read more

After finally having enough of our old pediatrician who was too arrogant to even listen to us anymore I asked around we decided to make a switch to SOP. Never have we been happier! Before any of our new patient/establish care appointments, two of my three kids needed to be seen urgently and were immediately worked into their schedule and treated. Dr Newman is their primary care and talked in length with me regarding each of their issues and was very reassuring and reaffirmed my choice to switch. My regular doctor for my infant was not in so I met Dr. Houghs. He is not a good dodctor. My infant had a uti and he made her go through lots of test which I think it was unnecessary. They scare you so you will do the test. They gave her 2 antiotic shot that made my daughter upset and more sick. They just finally gave her a oral antibiotic like they should of in first place. Don't go to this place. He didn't even give me any options or even explain well. Also, depending on the nurses you will get different answers. I told them the 2nd shot made her upset and crying all night they just said " oh she must have a stomach bug". They don't want to be accountable. I talked with a pharmacist when I was picking up the antibiotics and I told him about the injection and he shook his head saying he has never heard of an infant getting antibiotic shots just the regular oral antibiotic. They made little things in to a big deal and scare you. No comfort. read more
