Good doctors, but they don't allow you to make an appointment for a sick visit! You have to call same day. Have you ever heard of a doctor's office that doesn't allow you to make an appointment to be seen. My child has an on going cough, it's not an emergency, but I would like her to be seen and be able to plan it with her school schedule, if possible. I'm stunned they don't allow this. I see terrible reviews from 2-3 years ago but i've always had a great experience with the front desk staff dealing with my son. we've been here since he was born almost 1 year ago. Amy Montes is our pediatrician and i trust her fully. if you want a holistic-minded doctor who is also not afraid to prescribe when necessary, this is who you want. this is not a pushy or judgemental office but they will give you all the information you need to make decisions. when my son was sick we also saw another ped who was also great, unfortunately i can't remember her name. read more

Awesome clinic! Staff are all amazing, wait time is almost non existent, I've been late to a couple appointments and they always work with me and get me in, if My child is sick they are able to see her within 48 hours, they keep track of what special medical needs My special medical child has, they only once had to cancel on me and got me a reschedule with a different doctor the next day, My daughter has a low immune system and they always get her in when it's least busy so they can push her right back to be seen. My second is due soon and they already have everything ready to meet her, they make My job as a parent easy and I can just parent and not worry about miscommunications as the care coordinators handle all the special doctors appointments and therapies that My daughter needs, and they all respect My parenting choices and religious beliefs, and check in frequently in between appointments to make sure all is well. 10/10 recommend DR Kat Johnston especially if your child is special needs because she will make it still so easy as if they aren't special needs and stays on top of medical knowledge on disabilities! read more

My child has been seen by Dr. Johnston and her team at Siskiyou Pediatric for a decade. They have always worked with our family, including honoring some of our more holistic approaches to medicine. When we have been met with challenges and unsolved medical mysteries, they always worked with us diligently to find answers, including challenging insurance issues and providing outside referrals. They have been kind and respectful and gone above and beyond. I'm grateful for their help over the years. read more

This office is a shit show. They are either inconvenient, disrespectful, or both. My partner sent them a very clear and heartfelt letter explaining to them that my daughter's biomom has been out of the picture since day 1 and I am the only mom she has ever known. That there was no need to ask confusing or painful questions, especially infront of our kid. Guess they didn't think this info was important enough to pass along, because the FIRST thing the doctor opened with was "So you're.... Step mom?" Not going to forget the look on my kid's face. And then they sent us the bill.... Under biomom's name. Partner called and confronted them again and paid the bill. Guess what just came in the mail? Yup. Same paid bill. Now addressed to my 6 year old. But with the "responsible party" listed as biomom. This amount of disregard is unacceptable and dangerous. Go somewhere else. read more

My experiences with Dr. Marshak, his MA's and receptionist have always been very good. He and his staff were always very personable and capable. I would definately recommend him. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Staff is unhelpful and not educated. My sick son is unable to get an appt to be checked after following all instructions given. Called right at 830 as advised. Manager is very unprofessional. Terry should be fired for horrid customer service skills. Coming from a busy Beverly Hills doctor, this is a pathetic excuse for a pediatrics office. At my previous office, they could always squeeze me in if my son needed to be seen. Even last minute. I will never take my child here and my family is switching for their children as well. The front desk ladies are rude and unwelcoming. No matter what I did, they kept calling my son Alisha instead of Eli-sha. Why would I call my baby boy a girls name? I asked over 10 times for the doctors office that I am supposed to be taking my children to for 18 years to pronounce his name correctly. The final straw was when they accidentally put another baby's bloodwork in my sons chart. He was checked for iron and lead and that same day I was told everything looked beautiful and he was good to go. 3 months later I get a call from his doctor saying that I really do need to take him in to get his labs done it's very important to double check on his high lead levels..? So I call saying there must have been a mistake, they say no there is no mistake. My son tested high in lead. So I have to take him to get blood drawn (he is only 1 years old so it was traumatic for him) he had pokes all over his arms but they couldn't get a clear result so I had them poke his toe instead of drawing blood again and everything was perfectly fine:l. The nurse told me she put another child's information in his chart and nothing was ever wrong with my son. I put him through all of that, wasted my time and gas, and exposed him to germs for nothing! They didn't really own up to it. They made me feel like I was overreacting. I'm not putting up with this place for the next 17 years. DONE. read more

I pretty much love all the experiences I have had with this doctors group. Dr. Marshak is an excellent professional in his field and is personable. I have three young boys and they have all been under his care their entire lives...I trust him and I feel comfortable talking to him, I never feel judged. The only draw back to the clinic is the phone staff. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment quickly if they (the phone staff) don't trust that my child is actually sick from what I am reporting on the phone. read more
