Ryan gave us an estimate using information on our house from the internet. They have had to use this method since Covid prevented in person meetings. We have moved so much that neither one of us has ever had a house painted! So, this was a big undertaking and it was very stressful for me to pick a color that we would live with for a long time! We did want to meet with Ryan to discuss what was included in the estimate and get help with picking a color. Ryan came out and we met outside to be safe for all. He was very knowledgeable about the process and explained it so we felt comfortable with him. He had a giant book of all the colors of Sherwin Williams exterior paint-making it very difficult. We picked one set but it had green highlights in the sunlight. Who thinks about the colors that make up brown (red yellow and blue which makes red (rose) and yellow + blue gives green highlights). Once, I understood the color makeup, I found a balanced color without green or rosy highlights. Two of the team came out the night before to power wash the house to prepare it and put a sealer on it so paint wouldn't soak it so far and also create a water-resistant layer . The second day, a team of 5 came out. They are a well-oiled machine. Everyone has a different job and they work extremely hard. They all could answer questions and gave me information that was important. Thanks to Jack, E, Miguel, Tiffany and Rodo for the job they did. We're they perfect? There was some paint and tape around after the job was done. The business definitely needs to help the customer by answering questions. But the value for the price was with me getting some exercise in picking things up and cleaning. I would definitely have them back again! Things to do if I ever painted a house again... I would definitely take more time to pick a color. You can get a pretty large square of the color (colors) for body, trim and highlight trim that you're considering and put in on the house to see the color in different lighting and in different locations. 11/29/21 10 photos

A large project, Ryan did everything to ensure 36 home owners and the Board was more than satisfied with the quality of work. And we were. The crew was on time, quiet and respectful of the families living here and cleaned up at the end of each day. Ryan went out of his way to make small structural repairs that our senior residents didn't complete so the painting would go smoothly. There wasn't one resident complaint and that says so much. I was nervous because JC painting was the most affordable and we had already paid the other contractor his bid for the full job. I was quickly out at easy when they showed up and had the job complete in two days. They basically re-painted everything and re-textured all the other painters patches. He offered to come back and walk through with us, and promised to come back for any additional touch up. He followed through. Wait...I had read the reviews, they were great, how could this be??? A company that returned their phone calls, made appointments and did great work...no there must be a catch somewhere. We had lived in Delaware where you cannot get anyone to even answer their phone, and if they did, forget about them ever showing up to work when they said they would and if they did show up they never finished anything, not happening!!! BUT, Mike showed up, gave us a very reasonable estimate, a start date of 6/28. 3 of the nicest, most polite young men showed up, worked hard were mindful and great with our 8 month old puppy and I am pleased beyond measure!!!! Beams were not sanded as per the contract ( and confirmed by an employee) the crown molding and wood work in front of the home were not properly sealed & sanded prior to painting as we can still see divisions and nail holes. Nor were they painted to our expectations as they lack luster and almost look like paint was never applied. The expense of this project and the disappointment experienced was not of value. We were expecting what we were promised! And for the record we canceled because the project that was supposed to start in March, and that my spouse returned home for was further delayed thus wasting a trip back, and had yet to be completed in June.
