The baseboards into the Master Bedroom were in need of work to make them beautiful again. Now they look like brand new. A wall not on our original list of work was showing some water damage. They completely repaired the wall and repainted it. The fascia board around our lanai was completely repainted. I contacted Custom Concepts Painting to get an estimate for painting our home. It was a green that…read morewasn't our favorite. Ryan gave us an estimate using information on our house from the internet. They have had to use this method since Covid prevented in person meetings. We have moved so much that neither one of us has ever had a house painted! So, this was a big undertaking and it was very stressful for me to pick a color that we would live with for a long time! We did want to meet with Ryan to discuss what was included in the estimate and get help with picking a color. Ryan came out and we met outside to be safe for all. He was very knowledgeable about the process and explained it so we felt comfortable with him. He had a giant book of all the colors of Sherwin Williams exterior paint-making it very difficult. We picked one set but it had green highlights in the sunlight. Who thinks about the colors that make up brown (red yellow and blue which makes red (rose) and yellow + blue gives green highlights). Once, I understood the color makeup, I found a balanced color without green or rosy highlights. Two of the team came out the night before to power wash the house to prepare it and put a sealer on it so paint wouldn't soak it so far and also create a water-resistant layer . The second day, a team of 5 came out. They are a well-oiled machine. Everyone has a different job and they work extremely hard. They all could answer questions and gave me information that was important. Thanks to Jack, E, Miguel, Tiffany and Rodo for the job they did. We're they perfect? There was some paint and tape around after the job was done. The business definitely needs to help the customer by answering questions. But the value for the price was with me getting some exercise in picking things up and cleaning. I would definitely have them back again! Things to do if I ever painted a house again... I would definitely take more time to pick a color. From initial contact with my RFP to completion of this project, it was a pleasure to work with Ryan and his team of painters. A large project, Ryan did everything to ensure 36 home owners and the Board was more than satisfied with the quality of work. And we were. The crew was on time, quiet and respectful of the families living here and cleaned up at the end of each day. Ryan went out of his way to make small structural repairs that our senior residents didn't complete so the painting would go smoothly. There wasn't one resident complaint and that says so much. Following numerous attempts to rectify the problems they were hired to address and the additional issues they caused, I strongly advise others to proceed with caution when considering this company's services. In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, we hired Talent Painting based on their impressive five-star review. Unfortunately, the experience failed to meet expectations! Moreover, I have several text messages from Gus, the owner, promising to address these problems. Our open concept living, dining, and kitchen area where they repaired a ceiling crack that spanned the kitchen area and performed other drywall patches. However, the ceiling texture appears unsightly now. Please refer to the attached images for reference. Additionally, there were missed spots during the initial painting attempt, and they repainted some parts again. Regrettably the paint still does not match, and we have been living with a two-tone ceiling ever since. Our home's ceiling-to-wall joints were sealed with caulk, masking the imperfect paint application. However, this caulk eventually cracked and required removal. That created a bigger mess, and you can now see where they had to touch up paint from that now. Furthermore, the molding that was installed had separated from the wall, prompting additional corrective actions. The touch-up paint in our master bedroom exhibits a poor match and uneven application. As a result, the entire room required repainting, and the contractors showed little regard for protecting other areas. Gus' crew used my cleaning supplies and abundant amounts of paper towels, leaving my house in disorder. Upon asking them to clean up, I was informed by Gus that it is common for homeowners to hire a cleaning company after the work is done! While relocating our sectional resulted in the damage of the sturdy steel brackets that held its pieces together. These brackets are internal components that cannot be simply reinserted once they have been forcefully removed and distorted. As a result, the sectional now disintegrates when sat upon. Gus has assured me that they will fix the issue, that hasn't happened and then tried to say I said it was already broken! I possess numerous messages between Gus and myself containing assurances to enhance and correct their inadequate workmanship. The only concern he expresses is my removal of negative reviews!

Beams were not sanded as per the contract ( and confirmed by an employee) the crown molding and wood work in front of the home were not properly sealed & sanded prior to painting as we can still see divisions and nail holes. Nor were they painted to our expectations as they lack luster and almost look like paint was never applied. The expense of this project and the disappointment experienced was not of value. We were expecting what we were promised! And for the record we canceled because the project that was supposed to start in March, and that my spouse returned home for was further delayed thus wasting a trip back, and had yet to be completed in June.
