Place has saved my behind so many times. They will sit there for hours and explain every step of the process to you. Leveling, pouring a foundation, framing, getting plumbing and electrical hooked up, etc. Jesus, I wouldn't be surprised if they come out to the jobsite for you and start barking at the contractors screwing it up. They do all this because they got the Ace Hardware heart. It might be a bit pricier here than Home Depot or, God forbid, Lowe's (DO NOT GO TO LOWE'S! they got worse than service than popeyes chicken), but the helpful hardware folks who work here are worth the extra penny. Sometimes I feel like pulling out a crisp 20 or benjamin and giving it to these guys because they are so awesome. I been to every section and talked to all the regular faces who work here. I called to request service, Bryce basically refused service because of my location (which is on the route the driver makes) and because it's not one of "their" tanks. I spoke with someone else, later in the day and the driver came by to fill our tank. The next time I needed service, got the run around from Bryce again. This time I explained that the driver specifically told me that when he comes to my area and that if I needed service to call in the morning and let them know that he is ok with stopping by. The 3rd time I call for service, got the run around again. She took my info and said she'd have the driver come by, he never showed. So I called back and she said they're not coming because they don't want to fill a tank that's not theirs. I explained what the driver said and this time she put me on hold and then had the driver come tell me he can't come service me. They have been out to fill my tank 2 times since June of 2019, each time being a huge hassle. They are rude and unhelpful. They came, they measured what had been used (0), they charged once again! They also charged an Early Termination Fee because I cancelled within the first 3 years? Who told me about that tiny fact? No one! They also charged to disconnect the tank from the line ($102.01) There were also several unexplained charges for propane listed that I never called for as I didn't even use a drop from the tank. All told, it cost me in the neighborhood of $500.00 to never use the original delivery. Never again!
