Still a good spot for a great pizza, and well brewed beer. Several signature pizzas, or has the build your own option. Pizza is filling, and tasty. The single IPA offered is quite drinkable, but the beer options are lager heavy, so hop fans may have limited choices.

This is a brewery and we were looking for a full on brewery and tap room. I was so excited to see a black IPA on the menu! They have a wonderful variety. I got a full pint of the black IPA. My companion got a flight. The flavors were differentiated. The beers are a little thin, maybe missing a little. But it wasn't too bad. The interior was spacious and fun. They serve pizza in the taproom. They have a back patio and live music. It's a great place. I had a pretzel that ranked among my top 2 bar pretzels ever. I love a good pretzel. Overall despite being not amazing beer it was a good hang.

This brewery is located in downtown Waco. They have a great selection of beers on draft! If you're looking for malty beers, then I'd recommend Bloody Higgins! Also, they have a food menu, which they specialize in pizzas. Great atmosphere for friends and family!

Took over an hour for this!

Hey everyone, are wanting to wait one hour twenty one minutes for your first appetizer? Well come on down! Yep, in under two hours you can be eating a breadstick.

We didn't order any food butttt we go the most delicious flights ever ! The variety was amazing, taste was there in every single beer and the service was awesome. Hunter knew exactly what beers to give us ! Not to mention he was awesome ! And a total vibe !! Ambiance is great, games , good music, and arcade games. Did I mention they're dog friendly ? Don't miss out on this place. It's a must

Fam planned to spend the day in Waco, so after walking through the ever so famous silos and grubbing at Union hall, next on the itinerary is to do a brewery crawl. This was our first stop. It was a post lunch run on a mid-week so there were only a couple of tables occupied. Since there was about a dozen of us, we ended up occupying another two. I am designated DD, so Mom and I decided to split any pints she were to get. She let me decide on which we were going for, and being a wheat beer girl, we went for the Surfside. What I liked about this is how the flavor pops out a few seconds after taking a couple of gulps. It also lingers for a bit which I really enjoyed. Mom enjoyed it as well. They have a food menu consisting of primarily pizza and wings. Had I now had lunch a few hours before, I would have loved to have tried their grub! I would consider booking this place for a party! It's too bad I don't live anywhere near here, I'd sooo book it for a birthday gig! Good first run! Looking forward to the next!

I came here with a friend because she lives in Fort Worth and it was a good halfway point to meet up! We went to the farmers market nearby and decided we want to try some pizza. The ambience here is super cute. It's very brewery like with large open doors in the front however, it does have A/C so it's still comfortable inside. The service was also really great. Everyone was so nice. The cashier at the front gave us. Suggestions on types of drinks that we would like because we are not familiar with beer. We ended up getting the margarita pizza, a pretzel and we shared a sour beer. Everything we got here was so good and super fresh! The pretzel was hot when it first came out and the queso was so tasty! The Margherita pizza was also really good. The cheese and tomatoes tasted great. The fresh basil on top was perfect! I would definitely suggest this place to others, and would come here again!

Fun busy atmosphere and good beer! The pizza is ok, seems like people are more here for the beer and atmosphere more than the pizza.

It was a little busy due to the holiday but we enjoyed the old world like atmosphere bar tavern set up they have. We got a bottle of champagne to have mimosas with our meals. I got the delicious schnitzel Benedict. Loved it but next time I'll ask for the sauce on the side. I would have liked the traditional hollandaise. But it was a good twist. The potatoes were yummy. My husband had the schnitzel waffles. he ate the whole plate. So it's a winner. He said we can come back. So I again look forward to exploring more of the menu and having some beers. I mean pivo. Cheers.

The connected hotel is wonderful (there is a separate Yelp listing to review it). How amazing is it to stay at an operating brewery? The old-world European charm and flavor can be felt throughout. An elevated brewery pub, if you will. The decor definitely lends to that vibe. The food is really good and I dare to compare it to food we've had in Germany. I also love that they do a playful fusions of sorts with Texas & Czech foods. For example, the Czexan Potted Beer Cheese has a combo of sausages, peppers, meats, breads, and a cheese spread made with Czech beer. Perfect appetizer for two people and then some. My boyfriend loves the Texan Pocket Schnitzel. It's fried pork filled with jalapeños, ham, and cheese, served with mashed potatoes. I like the classic, authentic version of this. They do a fine job! I also love the Bavarian pretzel. It comes with a couple of different dipping sauces. Incredible beer pours that pair nicely with any of the meal options. We shared a flight that consisted of four different lagers. They also offer whiskey flights, brandy flights, wine flights, and cocktails. We didn't have dessert but I'm interested in the crème brûlée cheesecake next time 'round. Between staying at the hotel and eating at the restaurant, it was truly an experience that made me feel like we were back in Europe. Gotta hit up the beer spa next time too!

I've had the Chicken Parmesan pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Each of them was above average. The Chicken Parmesan came with a nicely breaded and cheese-covered piece of chicken with spaghetti and two pieces of garlic toast. It was good, though it could have used a little more red sauce. Pizzas are available as 20" or 14" pies, and certain ones you can get by the slice. The crust is medium thickness, light, with a soft core and a crispy outside. The Margherita was good but I preferred the Pepperoni. Overall, both pizzas were above average. I especially liked the crispiness of the outside of the crust. They also have salads and wings. Dessert consists of cheesecake or funnel cake fries. I haven't tried any of these yet. There is an inside dining area, a bar area, and an outdoor patio area. The inside is shared with Common Grounds coffee shop and Heritage Creamery ice cream shop, a couple of other local favorites.

My Think Pink drink was good, but overpriced. They don't have prices on the cocktail menu, and this felt more like a $9 drink than the $12 it turned out to be. My husband's beer was very well priced, I thought, at $6.50 for an IPA. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It wasn't tossed in buffalo sauce, just unevenly drizzled on top so the full sandwich wasn't covered. He asked for a side of sauce to finish the job and we were charged $0.50 for it. He was also charged $0.50 for a side of ranch for his fries. In general, I just don't agree with charging for condiments. I had the Alehouse Burger and it was fine. It had a bacon tomato jam so I thought it would be okay without condiments, but it was dry. It needed pickles. None of the burgers on the menu had pickles. Burgers should have pickles. We weren't given a kid's menu when we were sat, so I thought they didn't have one (it's a pub, I get it), and I tried to just order a side of mashed potatoes for my son. Our server was cool with it and was able to ring it in (because she later had to take it off the ticket) but the kitchen told her they don't serve individual sides which is very odd to me. You have a button for it on the POS, you can serve a side on an entree plate, so just put that amount on a side plate. It seems like a very easy way to cater to your customers. The sun really shines through those back windows in the evening. Some pull down shades would be a huge improvement. It's a beautiful view, but not when the sun is setting and blazing into your retinas. Overall, food was mid, prices were a little too high across the board, service, as always, was great.
