Claudine helped make my daughter's wedding day perfect! Bride, MOB, MOG and MOH hair and makeup were A++++. We appreciated multiple practice sessions and great communication and sharing of ideas. She's very organized and works seamlessly with all parties including wedding planner. Claudine made sure we all looked our absolute best and was fantastic at keeping a calm vibe. She's a very talented delight and we are so grateful to have found her.

I've used her now for my wedding trial and my engagement shoot. Claudine is AMAZING. I told her what I wanted, didn't give her much direction other than a few generic comments, and she created the most spectacular hair and makeup looks. For my wedding hair, she created this intricate curled and fishtail style that looks so classic, beautiful and simple but also super not simple (see photo, it makes more sense when you see it), and beautiful natural bridal makeup. When I got home from my trial, my fiancee literally stared at me open mouthed for about three minutes collecting flies because he said I looked so beautiful. My engagement shoot was a bit more fun on the makeup with a simple pony - she worked my hair (and hair extensions) to create the most perfect editorial shoot pony EVER. She is a GEM with hair extensions, knows exactly how to put them in for optimal volume, style and effect and I could not be more thrilled to have her for my wedding day. She's also SUPER reasonably priced and really sweet. I ADORE her and will continue to use her for EVERYTHING!

I must mention how uniquely and tastefully the shop is decorated. I mean, wow! I absolutely love it! With all of this, I decided to make an appointment to get my hair done and to get a pedicure. Stacia cut and styled my hair. It is the best haircut I've had since I moved to Bristol almost 3 years ago. Thank goodness that I finally found a great stylist. Shannon performed my pedicure and she did a great job. Plus she has a great personality (both Shannon and Stacia have great personalities), which allowed for good conversations during the pedicure. Shannon does make up, as well. I want to go on a little more about the way the shop is decorated. According to Stacia, Shannon has the gift to decorate and transformed the blank space into the eye pleasing creation into the beautiful space it is now. It has wide black and white stripes painted on the walls, extremely high backed thrones as seats for the pedicure booths on and elevated platform, and it has a few booths available for stylists and manicurists to rent. You should visit this place. You will feel like you are on a mini vacation. I highly recommend this new-to-town business.

Grace, the owner, then let me know that I would have to pay $45 for product, though it wasn't me who messed up my hair. I didn't asked for just all over colour. I wanted highlight/lowlights, and those were completely ignored both times. 1st I had "LETS GK UT VOLS" Orange hair. The 2nd time I had a muted orange hair. I did not want either of those colors. I went in for low lights and highlights and came out with all over color that I did not want. They never responded to calls, emails, and when I made a review on Instagram, they blocked me. I gave Liv the color that I wanted which was low lights and highlights and ended up with the orange hair. And yet Grace, the owner, said it was my fault because that's the color I picked. Again I wanted low lights and highlights, and ended up with all over orange hair. I am a natural strawberry blonde, and now have a muted orange hair. I look like Leeloo from the movie "The Fifth Element". I'm sure they do great blow outs, but colour? DO NOT DO IT. Go to Salon Soca, which I should've done in the the first place.

She did an amazing job with the cut and color, and the service was excellent! I definitely recommend coming to her and the salon in general. I will definitely be back!

Sadly, both of them left (first one so I moved to another, and then she moved away, too- wish them both the best in the world!). My review here is based solely on my experience after my stylists left since that's the business that exists now. When my second amazing person left, I took the chance on one of the other women in the salon- she said she was good friends with my previous stylist and handling her clients. I was so relieved! and then she did my hair... You can imagine what it's like to have someone say that she "didn't have the color that Tiffany used, so I substituted this other one" - this was in reply to my concern that the wet color looked different. She immediately started to pull oil through my hair because she thought it was dry. When asked, she said that applying wouldn't dye all my hair- I spent a lot of time and extra cost on having that process where they just dye pieces of hair to blend it in for a natural look. She was so very wrong on both counts- the color was very different from what I was getting, and it was all over my hair- it looked like bad box color for more than $100 dollars and two hours effort. I figured that I'd given a new stylist the old college try and would take my color card (my former stylist told me that was normal procedure if your stylist left) and try someone else in Boone. The new person refused to give me the card. I spoke with the staff, and I got put off for weeks. When I finally got the color, they gave me codes for black hair. Totally unprofessional.
