Progreen picked up Elk's Lawn Service customers last fall and came and mowed the grass and weed…read moreeated twice a month as Elk's had been doing. This Spring, no one showed up. I phoned the office and Hailey told me that I had a contract from April to November, and that she would forward to the maintenance supervisor. I never heard anything back, no one showed up, and the grass and weeds continued to grow. I called again, and Hailey again told me she would forward to the maintenance supervisor. Again, I received no follow up. My wonderful neighbor took pity on me and mowed and weed eated my lawn in mid-April. Again I called and texted Progreen. Finally, after days and texting I received a response: Weekly Visits: April 15 - September 15 Weekly Visits-The lawn will be cut using rotary mowers, and the clippings will be left to disintegrate and return valuable nutrients to the soil.-All structures will be trimmed around every visit, and hard surfaces will be edged every visit.-Hard surfaces will be blown free of debris after every visit. Excess debris will be removed from site as needed.-Shrub beds will be kept weed free by applying herbicide & pulling weeds in sensitive areas. Beds will be monitored every trip. Tip Pruning:-Shrubs will be tip pruned as needed throughout the year.-Any heavy pruning requested will be billed separately at $55 per man hour Dormant Season Lawn Maintenance Bi-Weekly Visits: October-March-Mowing as needed. Property will be kept clean, leaves removed from lawn areas.-Weeds controlled in beds & all parking areas, decks, and sidewalks blown off. Tip Pruning:-Shrubs will be tip pruned as needed throughout the year.-Any heavy pruning requested will be billed separately at $55 per man hour Total (All Contract Services) $2,930.58 The total price of all seasonal services is $2,930.58 collected in 12 payments of $244.22 per payment I prune my hedges and manage my garden beds to my satisfaction. I only needed them to resume the lawn services they provided last Fall. The contract could be modified per Progreen, so I modified it on April 24, 2024, and as of this date April 30th, I have had no response. I was very happy with the previous services provided. Their employees did a wonderful job with my lawn. I am so disappointed that Progreen has treated this customer so shabbily. Obviously, I am now looking for a company that can provide the services I need.
