do not go to this school I was lied to from the get go it was like I was in a used car lot what ever to get me in the door . I use Gi bill and like other veterans we were told online classes would be done during the same time as on campus classes . over booking classes were u get little booth time then going through instructors like playing musical chairs very very disappointing read more

Horrible place to work! IThe Tampa campus had 5 different executive directors and 6 directors of educations in a few years, each one worse than the previous! Employees are constantly in fear of being fired. Retailiation and bullying is permitted, student complaints are daily and ignored by mangement. This college is scary! read more

if you're planning to go into the electrical program don't, when you graduate the job they get you is a entry level that doesn't require a tech certification. Just apply for jobs and they will train you hands on and get you certified. It's not worth your time and money to go there. No value at all. read more

I went to Southern Technical College in 2022 to be an electrician. The classes are great, the teachers are amazing and offer a lot of good information and technical skills , and it's a good environment to learn. I don't, however, recommend going to Southern technical college. My biggest problem with that school was the financial aid department. I set up auto pay so that didn't have to worry about paying tuition at the end of the year. They somehow managed to mess that up. They even managed to mess up signing me up again to continue to make auto payments so that I wouldn't have to pay at the end of the year. They change staff so many times that you never seem to see the same person when you go in. They offer no good explanation and the best thing that they can say is that we've changed staff and hope to do better. The financial aid department is garbage and I recommend you paying close attention to your money if you go. read more

Hello, my friend is in surgical technician program. After finishing all her requirements with straight A's throughout the whole program, she was not guaranteed a spot for her internship at the hospital. This school is the worst. The director of the program is a joke. He has "too many students" to keep track of. Keep in mind, with my fiancé included, there are 5 students total in the program. He said he sent her emails and when she confronted him, he said he forgot to press "send" for the emails to be sent. keep in mind, she was offered a spot in hospital clinical, but the director's excuse was that "she didn't do the paperwork" which she did and on time. I'm not sure why this school is doing that. Maybe it has to do with her race since she's not white BUT THAT IS NOT OKAY! I will not stand for any BS that goes around in any school. I'm a student myself and I know how schools work. They just want to draw as much money off of you as they can. MY FRIEND IS NOT GOING TO TAKE ANY MORE CLASSES. SHE'S BEEN DONE WITH HER REQUIREMENTS FOR OVER 6 MONTHS NOW. I'm going to keep adding terrible reviews on every website until I see this problem resolved. I hate to do this but this terrible, unprofessional, and unethical college has forced my hands. This message is coming out from frustration because of a faulty system. I graduated from here a couple of years ago with my Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree and I really enjoyed it! I now work full-time as an OB/GYN Sonographer and it is my dream job. The work load is very manageable at this college and the professors were really helpful. Going to school here was definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. read more
