I've worked with Platinum Property Mgmt since mid-2016 to help manage my condo in Atlanta - as I…read morewas moving back to California. I chose them after carefully reviewing multiple property management companies, and I've found them to be responsive, friendly, and professional. Solid communication was a key reason why I chose them, and I'm very pleased to work with Lisa R., Jennifer L., Antony S., Tiffany M., and Amy R. to help secure tenants, work with vendors, and provide a hassle-free level of service that has allowed me to have piece of mind. I thank each and every one of you, and appreciate the hard work and passion you put into your jobs. Keep up the good work! :)

Extremely disappointed with Platinum Property Management's move-out process. After moving out, they…read morewrongfully withheld a portion of my security deposit ($250 for minor entry wall scuffs), despite their own written Move-Out Guide explicitly stating on page 1 that 'Minor scuffs or scratches on walls from regular movement of furniture' stands as Normal Wear and Tear and should not be charged. Furthermore, they withheld these funds based entirely on a contractor's estimate (Six Star Home Management) rather than providing proof of an actual paid invoice showing the work was completed. I attempted to resolve this in good faith multiple times: I met with a representative (Jennifer) in person for a reassessment on February 4th, sent detailed follow-up emails, and submitted a formal Statement of Dissent via Certified Mail. Despite accepting responsibility for actual items owed (like basic kitchen/bedroom touch-ups), management refused to honor their own lease guidelines and policy handbook. Because they refused to return the wrongfully withheld funds by the deadline I provided, I was forced to take them to Magistrate Court to protect my rights as a tenant. Prospective tenants beware: Take meticulous photos, save every document, and be prepared to fight for your money back. They will ignore their own written rules to keep your deposit.

I find it difficult to believe that a friend of the family and her sister known as the "The Sister…read moreTeam associated with Berkshire Hathaway " would stoop so low as to manipulate a sale just to sacrifice in the name of making a commission. I'm honestly confused as to what went so wrong as to cause the "Sister Team" to turn into the buyers representative instead of the sellers. Not only did they manipulate, con and act incompetent on various issues concerning selling of a home, their Broker Kim joined in with spewing incorrect and uneducated information. She stated "do not ever use Google to gather information" she even stated that she had "to tell her husband not to believe what you read". In my opinion Google has tons of information written by Dave Ramsey, Clark Howard and the US Government web sites. I'm not sure if Kim is smarter than all these people put together or just ignorant to the fact that these people are professionals in their businesses. Kim would lead you to believe she is smarter than closing attorneys and finance underwriters. I honestly believe that the "Sister Team" has been brainwashed by this dishonest, untrustworthy, money hungry organization called "Berkshire Hathaway". One of the sellers agents stated in a recorded phone call that " she was trying to spend her time on this Friday night Labor Day Holiday weekend with her family and did not want to discuss the sell, but in return ask that all conversations be directed to her Broker". I'm sure hundreds of thousands of real estate agents are out showing homes this weekend. In addition to this recording to protect my first amendment right to free speech and to write this review without fear of retaliation from these extremely either dishonest or uneducated salespeople I have most of all the phone conversations recorded and saved emails claiming they did not send important documents to sign, they were sent in so called error and even writing "she the agent needed to change all her passwords" leading me to believe that Berkshire Hathaway's servers had been hacked. They eventually blamed it on "Doc U Sign" I wonder how Doc U Sign would take the claim that they've been hacked? The "Sister Team" lead me to write this review simply because I personally wittiness one of them pushing a form in front of a extremely close individual that I hold dearly to my heart and not explaining to her just how serious this could affect the sell of her home and not explain to her that she could refuse to sign the document which would terminate the sale of her home and could possibly open her home back onto the market potentially bringing her thousands more. "There's no law that can compel a seller to accept FHA financing". That moment was stolen from this person and now she's in a nightmare of having to get a Real Estate Attorney to represent her and spend hundreds more because of the incompetence of the distrust of the "Sister Team" and their Broker Kim. As I write this review it's passed the three business day law that requires the Lender and the sellers Attorney to produce the Closing Disclosure and closing documents, however "The Sister Team" that has been selling homes since the early 2000's and their extremely experienced Broker Kim has never heard of such a law and the documents could possibly be produced at the closing table therefore not giving the seller time to have her attorney look over the legitimacy of all the documents. Maybe they should check out the web site "https://www.consumerfinance.gov/owning-a-home/close/review-documents/ Which is an official website of the US Government. I'm leaning toward this is due to ignorance, greed or maybe it's just the way they conduct business. I was told by Kim this rule only applies to the buyer, however I've had three different attorneys tell me it applies to the seller as well. In jus I need to add that the finance manager for the buyer on recording threw the buyer under the bus by blaming everything on him. He also stated that the Sister Team had warned him about the seller trying to cause trouble however the Sister Team denies ever speaking with him. I have both conversations on recording. The review ends with the closing papers arriving two days prior to closing and and another closing document arriving just a few hours before the morning of closing. The seller chose to hire herself an attorney to review the documents in order to protect her from any other acts of dishonesty. The final results, closing went through, however no one will ever know if the seller could have cleared more on her home due to the dishonesty or ignorance of the "Sister Team" and Berkshire Hathaway. The seller does not know I posted this review out of fear of retaliation.
