Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like our previous experiences. This was not a cheap brunch, yet it lacked some of the most basic brunch offerings -- no omelet station, no waffles, pancakes, or the variety that was offered in the past. The food overall was very disappointing and nowhere near worth the price. What made it even worse was the dessert area. Once desserts ran out, they were never refilled, and several members of my family never even had the chance to try them. For the amount charged, this is unacceptable. I even asked the host about the omelet station they used to offer and was told it was removed because the lines would get too long. That is not a good excuse. Other brunch places like Grand Concourse still manage to offer omelet stations, waffle stations, eggs, meats, and much more at a similar or even lower price point. I left embarrassed and disappointed after recommending this place to my family for such a special occasion. Sadly, we will not be returning, and I would not recommend this brunch experience to others looking for a quality Mother's Day celebration.

Flat out - this place sucks!…read more I was at the wedding reception of a close friend's son recently. The reception was held at Noah's Southpointe location. For what I thought was a rather hefty fee, the venue offered little. They did no setup. They did furnish tables and chairs, but the setup was totally on the renter. They offered no table trimmings, no centerpieces, no nothing. Tablecloths only. The teardown was limited to tables, chairs and linens - and the laundering of the linens was an extra charge. They wouldn't handle any centerpieces, that was all on the renter. The food prep area is tiny, and offers no warming apparata at all. All cooking and holding of food at temperature must be done outside of the venue. The caterers were tripping over themselves trying to serve the guests. The acoustics of the room are absolutely horrendous. Aside from a couple of [small] panels on the back wall, the room is totally hard surfaces. The DJ did what he could, but the sound is either no volume or booming echos. There is no outdoor seating, so smokers, or those who just wanted a few moments away form the crowd and noise, were reduced to sitting on window sills or curbs. A decent fire hall would hands down do better than Noah's Southpointe.

Anything that I asked them to do was either answered with an "I Can Do That", or I was provided with an immediate suggestion or solution. The team there worked so hard to make our day as perfect as could be. I can not say enough about the venue or the staff.

The trail is great for beginners or if you just want a quick jog. There are several benches you can sit down on along the way, plus a tree stump in the woodsy part that you can also sit on to rest. It's a very well maintained trail that smells like freshly cut wood chips, and has a nice variety of terrain. I didn't see any dog poop (it's a no-dog park) and no litter at all, which the multiple trash cans around the loop definitely help with. While a good portion of the trail has the wood chips, some areas could use a bit more. After rain, a few spots can get muddy and it can get a little marshy in the grassy part where there is no trail. The outer loop is about 1.2 miles, and there are several spots where the trail branches off. There's a more "woody" section and a more "grassland" section, which keeps it interesting. It's also not hard to find parking at the church across the street. There's a lot of birds chirping and tons of squirrels and bunnies, and every once in a while you'll spot deer. Inside the barn fence there are lambs and sometimes horses, which is a nice touch. Also kind of cool is that there are wild chive plants around this trail which is common in the Pittsburgh area, and you'll find some growing in the park if you know what to look for.

The old house, and farm are really special, and I am so glad that the Upper St. Clair Historical Society maintains these buildings and property so we can occasionally get to visit and see how things used to be. Today they had all kinds of activities going on, from hayrides, petting zoo, sheep shearing, cow milking, yarn spinning, beekeeping, and of course tours of the historic house, barn and outbuildings, all of which are like a museum. This place was well worth the price of admission . . . FREE, but the suggested donation was $5 per person.

The hotel is very clean and the lobby had plenty of seating and even some board games. The back of the hotel had a patio with a grill and even a basketball court. The gym was a little basic but it's a hotel gym I'm not expecting it to look like a Planet Fitness: Miniature Size. The only things holding this back: The breakfast is a big hit or miss. The pulled pork I had on saturday was so dry and unflavorful I nearly choked. The milk was also room temp (not great for cereal!), the handicap rooms are also way too far from the elevators (right near an exit for a staircase but if someone is in a wheelchair that doesn't help much). Additionally despite the hotel being as big as it is, there are only two luggage carts I waited almost an hour when I checked in and checked out. Doesn't help when some guests can't be bothered to bring the carts down after use and just leave them unattended in the middle of their hotel room floor. Also the sleeper couch is very uncomfortable woke up with neck and back discomfort and pain every morning :/.

Tera, Conway, and Terry were all amazing, very friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. The outdoor space was nice, and the staff even invited us to join them out back while they were cooking, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pool area was clean and warm, and there was a nice area across the street with a couple of places to eat, enjoy cocktails, and play games. There was also a shopping center about two miles away, which was very convenient. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely book here again.

What a surprisingly awesome Holiday Inn!…read more I generally hold somewhat lower expectations when staying at a hotel in this price range (my room cost $123 one night; $108 the next). I completely underestimated this gem!! Upon entering, the lobby was clean, well-lit, and comfortable; at this time, decorated for Christmas. Check-in was easy, and we soon found ourselves in a spacious king room with modern decor. Everything smelled and looked brand new and well-maintained. The bed was ultra-comfortable. The bathroom featured a large, walk-in shower. The bathroom toiletries are basic and rather low-end, so bring your own if you have more high maintenance needs. Bonuses: FREE breakfast that was actually super delicious! I do secretly love those simple little omelettes, filled with American cheese, that I top with salsa. The biscuits and gravy was also top-notch! FREE Wi-Fi Overall, a comfortable, clean, well-appointed hotel for a tremendous value! I will definitely be a repeat guest when traveling to the Canonsburg area.

I chose this hotel strictly due to the price, as the other two hotels close by, the AC Hotel and the newly renovated Homewood Suites, were priced much higher at the time of my booking. I booked a massive one-bedroom king room at a very reasonable rate. This hotel is an older style of Holiday Inn and Suites and does not have the modern look of newer Holiday Inn and Suites. The decor and the furniture seem very 90's or early 2000s style; even the TVs in my room were more than 10 years old. However, the room was clean and very spacious. One odd item to note was that the room had a kitchenette, but all of the cupboards and drawers were empty. No plates, glasses, or cutlery were available. The bedroom had its own TV and heating/AC unit; the bathroom had a shower and toilet, with the sink outside the bathroom. The main living area had a desk, a table and chairs and a kitchen island with additional seating. The lobby is massive and opulent, with a very large area for dining and eating the complimentary breakfast. There is a business center and additional meeting rooms on the first floor. One highlight was the fitness room, which was in a very large room with an abundance of fitness equipment, which was perfect for a three-night stay and allowed me to change up my daily workouts. The hotel comes with a pool, but the pool area has no humidity control, or at least it wasn't on or working during my stay, which made staying in that area very uncomfortable, especially on a hot and muggy summer day. The guest laundry has two washers and two dryers, and you have to pay by credit card or use an app that allows you to pre-pay the fees and use the equipment through the app. The breakfast was good and abundant with multiple hot and cold choices, but on one of the days, with more than 30 minutes left in the breakfast service, most of the hot food was finished, and I was told they weren't going to replenish it. Aside from that, I had an overall pleasant stay. The hotel could use a modernization at some point, as the rooms have no USB or USB-C charging ports but many electrical outlets available for chargers. The channel selection is basic satellite with no streaming capability. Wifi is strong enough for general use and multiple devices. If you are looking for an affordable stay in the area, this hotel might work for you.
