The staff were friendly and seemed to be helpful when I did interact with them which is the only reason this review has more than two stars. The restrooms were clean at the start of the night, but all of the soap dispensers were empty, disgusting. The skating rink was well maintained and rentals were available, also in good condition. Towards the end of the night there were several fights that broke out and police were swarming the surrounding area which was rather frightening.

Our group ordered pizza and had it delivered to the location, so I assume that food service is not an option from this facility. Four curling lanes were available for to use with 4 stones in each lane. They do not allow you to perform any sweeping on the ice like you see on the Olympics. The game is set up to slide your stone across the ice and try and gain as many points as possible. A worker on the other end of the ice pushes the stones back to you. Overall it was really fun to try and would be worth doing again. Just note that it's not the full curling experience that you may expect from watching the Olympics. This was a great activity for wintertime and definitely a fun environment!

People were parking in lots of adjacent businesses including the Target which was not a short walk. The cartways are really small and narrow that someone got hit in the lot. Number of handicapped spaces was limited to two which seems low for the carrying capacity of the building. The ramp isn't even close to ADA. The ledge to get in two of the rinks is very high. One not so much but they didn't put the disabled folks on the "low" ledge rink, even when requested for the next day. Not a 5 star rink in my opinion

My only complaint is that when a number of the skate helpers get on the ice it gets a bit challenging to skate around them all. Overall, we will go back with our kids.

On our second try, we came on Sunday, and it was insanely full of kids with lax parental supervision. The rink seems to be poorly managed -- they never bothered to flip the skating direction (most rinks flip half way through), they didn't have a Zamboni intermission, and they didn't stop kids from skating in every possible direction, throwing their hockey gloves in front of unsuspecting adults, etc.. It was kind of a free for all. On one end of the rink, adults were conducting hockey drills for kids (bad idea during public skate), and kids were using hockey pucks in the main skating area. Good luck not tripping. Summary -- great if you're a kid, but stay away if you're an adult. Next time we'll try the adult only session.

Our referees (shoutout Evan and Cole) did a great job of making sure everyone was set up and ready to go each round. Outside of the staff, the equipment that PPP supplies is great for beginners. We were able to each get a paintball gun, paintballs, and a mask for a decent price ($45) plus around 4 hours of gameplay. PPP offers 7 different arenas and we played 5 of them. Each one was well taken care of and provided a different type of experience. A variety of gameplay is available too. With over 20 different styles of play, we never had to play the same game twice. Overall, Pittsburgh Paintball Park is a great venue for any type of gathering and I would highly recommend!

I believe there are two break rooms so you could be breaking next door to another group at the same time. It's partitioned very well so you shouldn't see their debris flying into your space but you will likely hear their "rage" (laughter and breaking). The owner was super nice and a great conversationalist. She provided us a music genre of our choice in our room and an extra bonus box of beer bottles. She also provided us with gloves and a face shield for safety. My reservation was for a whole hour but smashing 3 boxes of items and chatting with the owner might have only taken us 25 mins. She offered us more smashables for very reasonable prices but as middle aged adults we assumed our throwing arms might be sore in the a.m. It was so fun and we laughed a lot together. Great short little date. I brought home a Santa tea cup as a souvenir from our box. Didn't have the heart to smash him and his reindeers. Overall, GREAT experience. I wish this business well.
