But in the meantime, it is very conveniently located for these two busy roads. Of course, getting out and across traffic during rush hour is a challenge, but with a bit of planning, the location should work for most drivers. There are multiple bays for vehicles to pull into. Not all have diesel available, so if that's what you need, then you have to be selective. All the pumps have seals to help protect the credit card readers from being tampered with, and that's appreciated too. Because of the layout, upon leaving, I had to drive around the building to get turned around to face the street. Maybe they want you to consider the car wash one last time after being prompted on the card reader/pump. Anyway, the place was pretty clean and the gas was competitively priced. When traveling by car, gas is high enough without scrambling at the last minute to find a place to sleep before you hit the road again. Since I didn't know the area, I had to drain my iPhone AND gas tank trying to locate another place. When you are a woman alone, you want some place that is well-lit, near a bathroom, and a lot of business coming and going to prevent break-ins or the chance of getting raped. I had become reliant on the Flying J or Pilot, and now I can't. I also understand that one bought out the other, so the ban on overnight parking is probably standard now. Pretty standard fueling station outside the large Kroger located along Southport Road. I like that…read morethey have enough distance from the main parking area of the grocery so as not to impede access in and out of the fueling bays. There is a person in a small booth in the center of the bays for most of the day (except for the overnight shift). If you wish to pick up one of the propane tanks, buy ice, or rock salt that are stored there, you have to go to the booth to acquire those.
