But I was intrigued, so figured I'd check it out. Now I had no idea what Leo's offered until I went in. Think gas station/convenience store offering locally made food items, freshly prepared bowls/drinks and kolaches. Second guilty admission: never had a kolache. The nice woman behind the counter helped me choose (they were buy one, get one free)! So I chose one egg and cheese, and one spinach and cheese. They were warmed in an oven while I went to grab a coffee and use the restroom, which was very clean and well-stocked. Pro tip: if you want a latte or another specialty coffee, order at the counter. If you want to make your own, go to the coffee bar. It's less expensive, plus they have a variety of sweeteners, Torani syrups, and assorted creamers (including plant-based). The cash register employee let me know when they were ready to go, and my grand total was less than $6. I picked up a few hot sauce packets from the condiment bar and sat down in the dining area to eat. The kolache itself is essentially a small, light sandwich. The bread was soft, with a hint of sweetness. The egg and cheese combo was perfect for my light lunch! I had a bite of the spinach and cheese kolache before I left, which was even more flavorful and cheesy! Can't wait to have it tomorrow morning. The cafe also features freshly prepared smoothies, coffee drinks, salad/potato/pasta bowls as well as soups, with a rotating soup of the day. There's truly something for every taste. I've noticed that this gas station generally has the lowest-cost gas in the area. I like coming here because the gas pump's functions work, and I've not had any issues paying at the pump. Also, the receipt prints out, so there is no need to go inside, which fewer gas pumps are doing these days. Getting gas here is seamless and reliable. This location is very convenient and is easily accessible.

They have three check out lanes in addition to everything you would expect in a chain grocery store or big box stores. As I walked around the store for my first time I was reminded of the old IGA mid size grocery store chain. I found what I was looking for in no time at all. When you enter the building, if you veer to the left, you will see where you can place your order. If you go to the right, you will find a small dining area with booths. Being that it is located in a gas station, there are an adequate amount of spots to park. The place does not have a grill, fryer or stove. All their food is refrigerated and/or microwaved. They serve items such as burgers, pizzas, pretzels, salads, subs, phillys, wraps and tacos. They also serve breakfast sandwiches. All the drinks that a usual gas station has are at your disposal to choose from. The pizza looked like it was self serve, as I saw a customer get her own slices and take it to the front register. I ordered one of their famous gyros. The meat is pre cut, pulled out of the fridge and nuked for a few minutes. The pita is swallowed up by the meat. There is so much meat. It could make 2 or 3 gyros out of it. I had to eat the meat down to get to the pita. The gyro was warm, but you could tell that it was not fresh and was reheated. It was flavorful though and really filled me up. I had it for lunch and ended up skipping dinner. I also had some of their potato salad, which they got out of a big container in their refrigerator. It was ok, nothing special though. To top my meal off, I got one of the large chocolate chip peanut butter cookies that were starring me in the face when I was ordering. It looked a whole lot better than it tasted. I definitely would not get one of those again. Even though there was a small dining area available. I love how inviting they are and at one point I stopped to talk about work related things with one of the night shift workers. Great guy! They are very clean generally, a good selection of fresh produce, and everything else well stocked from meat to daily necessities. Sometimes, despite being through the store countless times, I have trouble finding something... but I can usually get around quickly, and if the WiFi connection is strong enough the website tells me the exact aisle. lol! For made to order food items, you put in your order on a screen and a little ticket prints out. Then you go pay at the cashier or self-checkout and come back to wait for your food. I opted for a an iced Carmel macchiato and a bagel with cream cheese. My brother tried the French toast breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious. I'm glad I heard them announcing to another customer how it works since I'm not sure I would've figured that out on my own. When your order is ready, they'll call out your number. The coffee did come from a different side than the food so you may have to wait at both stations. It was super clean and well organized. There was plenty of parking between the front and the back of the building. But, we noticed there wasn't any seating inside or outside. I didn't interact with employees much since I ordered at the screen and did self checkout, but they were friendly and did a good job explaining how the process worked when making announcements.
