The service guys are really nice however, they do try to up sell you. He did mention I needed an oil change, needed to change my air filter and that my transmission fluid was low. It's a good thing I read all the reviews beforehand, because that seemed to be a common thing. I politely declined and that was that - the mechanic didn't pressure me. And I was out the door in less than half an hour. I'll definitely go here again to get my emissions test if needed but that's about it.

I found out they Lied about needing a new alternator and belt when we just needed a battery. The mechanic did not even place all the mounting bolts back on the "new" alternator and gave us a used up belt that looked like was about to break. Just crazy. Then, a week later we suddenly our muffler started making loud noises after driving through rainy condition and has never stopped making noises since. Before going to the shop our muffler never ever should signs of potential leaks. The people charged me $2000 dollars for a used alternator and a used belt plus a suspect battery. I even told the manager Adam that we were a family of six with 4 young kids and do not have a lot of money yet he still heartlessly screwed us over and his mechanics basically made our Van almost unsafe to drive since we must not worry about carbon monoxide poisoning if all windows a closed. These dishonest people are truly evil and should never ever be trusted to take care of your vehicle. Over charging for a job and then messing up you car is just criminal!

The car could not have passed the safety test it was a dangerous to drive this car on the road. We got a quote to get the gearshift selector cable and the neutral safety switch replaced: $534.88 in labour and $1121.20 in parts plus HST. We said go ahead. Then, when they tried to replace the parts, THEY BROKE THE BOLT and said the only way to fix it is to pay additional $3000 to get the transmission replaced. We told them this was unacceptable so they said they'd just weld the broken bolt back together, without installing the parts. They said they couldn't return the parts so ended up charging us the full $1121.20 plus HST for the parts which we ended up taking home with us. Then, on top of that, they had the audacity to charge us $484.88 plus HST for labour, ie the original quote for REPLACING the parts minus a $50 discount, ie. THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE PARTS BUT CHARGED US FOR THAT WORK ANYHOW. This is absolutely outrageous. They should have charged us for the welding if anything which I cannot imagine being this expensive. Overall a terrible experience. I feel we've been taken advantage of.

I had previously called CAA (rip off), Visited Canadian Tire (double rip off) and even had a fleeting thought about going back to the dealership... HA!!!! (See my review of Islington Chrysler for more details). But when I called AG+R the gent (Eugene) I spoke with was friendly, helpful and gave a quick quote and timeline. I came in right before opening at 8am and they were already taking people in to get them assessed, quoted and into the queue so parts could be ordered and customers serviced promptly at opening. There were two prices for a replacement battery, acceptable and Canadian Tire Crazy (CTC). I opted for the more reasonable price, the battery was ordered and delivered within 15 minutes. $280 all in about 25 minutes later I was paid up and back in my car and on my way. Boom. Car is running great again, and I really appreciated how they tried their best to find an affordable quality option to get me on my way as quickly as possible. Look forward to taking my future business here as it's close to home and offer great service.

I asked also if the maintenance light could be turned off. When I go the car the maintenance light was still on. I checked the fluids myself and automatic transmission fluid and the power steering fluid were low. The only thing this shop is good at that you can trust is them making out the bill. When I was picking up my car, they told me that they are unable to change the oil filter for some reason. Since the oil filter was not changed , I was forced to go to Lexus dealer garage to change the oil filter. You can imagine my surprise, when Lexus mechanic told me that tires were not rotated either! As you can see , on the Master Mechanic invoice one of two items listed is "rotated tires". I called Master Mechanic, they ask me to come back for rotation. BUT, ONCE I HAVE BEEN LIED TO, MY TRUST IS LOST. Lexus also changed the oil filter without any problems. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED MASTER MECHANIC HIGH PARK. Always check in details , if listed service was in fact performed ! NEVER TRUST!
