I try to be as fair as possible to businesses when I am writing these reviews because I do realize the potential of the influence they carry when they are published on websites. When I take the time to write a review then it is reflective of an experience or service I had with a vendor or business of some sort as with this review. That experience includes not only the type of service provided but also any other event that occurred during my business with the organization. That said, it is quite disappointing for me to have to write this review about Southside Complete Auto Paint & Body, at 6030 GA-85 suite 718, Riverdale, GA 30274. I wanted to give them 5 stars but in all honesty it would be dishonest if I did so I can't. Why not? Did they repair the car door that I left with them? Yes they did an excellent job repairing the damage that my car sustained in a fender-bender. Was it in a timely manner? Yes it was! Did they cause any additional damage to my car? YES THEY DID! Now I have to figure out a way to repair the damage that they did which is a cost that I did not foresee. What did they do? There is a film on my windshield and windows that will not come off. It looks like either they washed my car in the sun and the soap dried on the car before it was washed off. OR looks like maybe they covered my windows with paper to protect the windows while they painted another car with my car in the same space. It was NOT like that when I turned my car in to be repaired. They also left a paint mark on the passenger side door which also was not there when I dropped my car off to be repaired. So did they repair the door as I requested? Sure they did but did they also cause additional damages to my car that I now have to pay someone to correct? Yes they did. I am greatly disappointed to have to write such a review because I do appreciate the fact that they repaired the door but I am NOT happy about the other damage they caused to my car. It is also worth mentioning that they do NOT offer any type of shuttle service so just in case you need to pick up a rental car while your car is in their shop being repaired then you will need to make other arrangements. An additional factor to mention is that the hours of operation are listed as open 24 hours but I am not sure if that is entirely correct because I was told that they close at 6pm and they are not open on Sunday's at all. I won't bash them because they do perform good work but if you are considering using this shop, my advice would be to make sure to do a THOROUGH inspection of your vehicle BEFORE you leave their shop or even take photos of your car before you drop it off to be repaired which is something to consider on its own merits. read more

First off, I'm a woman and sometimes I freaking hate going to mechanical shops. But I tell you I love this one! This is the second vehicle they've painted for me. The first was an Impala and the second a Saturn Vue with a plastic shell. All the other shops mentioned how expensive it would be because of the poly shell. When I tell you all that is body shop was a blessing and miracle for me... I mean that. I contacted Kory and he immediately got me in contact with Jay... I called Jay, told him my situation... He sent a tow truck to pick up my car in a matter of hours and was courteous and kind to me every time I called him (which was almost every day for 2 weeks!!!). Jay kept me informed and updated. I hate that I needed Complete Custom, but I love that because I did... They were here for me. I just picked up my car a few hours ago, my car looks awesome and was cleaned and ready for me. And I didn't come out of my pocket with ANY MONEY... Wait... Ima say it again... I DIDNT COME OUT OF MY POCKET WITH ANY MONEY!!! 10 out of 10. I searched for auto body and compared shops based off ratings. SC auto lived up to the expectations. My paint color came out amazing, body work beautiful, and was bonused beautiful new headlights. The shop doesn't look ultra impressive but Very luxurious feeling service. The lady in charge will go hard for you, female friendly auto shop. No games here I'd recommend this shop for paint and body work for everyone I know. My mother and I felt so taken care of we bought the lady a small gift later. She and her husband are a-maz-ing. read more
