First off, the store is massive and has just about everything a Coloradan would ever need for outdoor festivities. The mission: rent a sandboard for Great Sand Dunes National Park. Consider the mission accomplished! I spoke with three different people over my two visits (one to rent, and the other to return) and they were just so damn friendly. Knowledgeable, helpful, and encouraging for a first time sand boarder like myself. You can rent sand boards or sleds for $20 a day. Totally worth it, especially if you're staying in Alamosa.
